Dodgers predicted to be top landing spot for $5 million two-time Gold Glove, would replace Michael Conforto image

The Los Angeles Dodgers have secured their first win in the NLCS, and they seem like they are ready to keep on chugging to another World Series appearance. However, that doesn’t mean they should be content with the roster they have. There are always upgrades to be made, and this Dodgers team is no exception.

Bleacher Report’s Kerry Miller believes the Dodgers can upgrade their outfield by finally replacing Michael Conforto with two-time Gold Glove Trent Grisham.

Grisham simply seems like a good fit for them as they mercifully move on from giving Michael Conforto regular playing time in the outfield…So bring on Grisham, who has a solid glove, who out-homered every Dodger not named Shohei Ohtani in 2025, and whose left-handed stroke should fare well at Dodger Stadium,” Miller wrote.

This season, Grisham finished slashing .235/.348/.464/.811 with 34 home runs and 74 RBI over 143 games played. He also has one of the best gloves in the MLB, with his aforementioned Gold Glove he won in center field.

Currently, the Dodgers have Andy Pages, Tommy Edman, and Teoscar Hernandez in their outfield, with Michael Conforto as a backup. However, after this season, Conforto, Kike Hernandez, and Miguel Rojas are all free agents, so the Dodgers lose a lot of utility depth.

Insert Grisham. He becomes the everyday center fielder, and Edman moves to second base. Hopefully, the Dodgers consider this signing, as they would finally get another power bat other than Ohtani and a great glove in the outfield.
