Dodgers’ Clayton Kershaw threw the slowest pitch of his historic MLB career image

Clayton Kershaw has done many remarkable things during his historic MLB career for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

He has also twice thrown pitches that don't even threaten a highway speed limit.

The latest came on Saturday night in Kershaw's win over the Giants. He tossed in a loopy offering at 46 miles per hour.

This is actually not the first time Kershaw has done this.

Back in 2016, he found the 46mph mark for a first time.

Both pitches were ruled to be out of the strike zone, although the 2016 offering was at least close.

It's just a funny footnote to Kershaw's greatness.

He's been his usual self this season since returning from injury. In six starts, he has a 3.25 ERA.

The Dodgers are just glad to have their legendary lefty back, 46 mile per hour pitches and all.
