The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim will be watching the playoffs from home, again.
At least they made some history along the way.
The Angels' Jo Adell and Taylor Ward made this the third season in franchise history in which multiple players hit 35 or more home runs, according to @JayHayKid.
The most recent instance came in 2015, when Mike Trout and Albert Pujols both had big power seasons.
And the original time it happened was 2000, when three Angels went deep 35-plus times: Garrett Anderson, Troy Glaus and Mo Vaughn.

This time around, Ward just reached the 35-homer mark, and Adell has 36.
For Adell, it's been a cool season to finally see some of his former top prospect shine show up again.
Adell has driven in 96 runs and has a solid .784 OPS.
Ward is right in line with Adell with a .789 OPS. He's got 31 doubles, 35 homers and 102 RBI.
The only full-time Angels player with a higher OPS this season was Zach Neto, who is missing the end of the campaign with an injury but was at .793.
The Angels, with five games left to play, look set to finish in the basement in the AL West Division, even below the Athletics. They have a 70-87 record through Tuesday.
The homer stats of Adell and Ward won't make that feel much better. But at least they've got a few power hitters to potentially build around.
