Astros' beloved ballpark rudely insulted by visiting broadcast team image

For many Houston natives, the Astrodome is a symbol of the city's history.

Until it closed its doors in 1999, the ballpark served as the home for the Astros, a concert venue, and even a shelter for 25,000 people during Hurricane Katrina.

But for one visiting broadcast team, the legendary stadium is nothing more than a bathroom.

The San Francisco Giants broadcast team did not mince words about the beloved Houston staple.

The Astrodome certainly had its flaws, but the broadcast team took it one step too far comparing it to a room that houses a toilet.

The ballpark was once referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World" and served as a home for events like "The Battle of the Sexes" tennis match and the 1992 Republican National Convention.

Not bad for a bathroom.
