The Cleveland Guardians' fanbase likely wants nothing to do with trading Steven Kwan away.
Of course, that doesn't guarantee Kwan won't get traded. And a repeating Los Angeles Dodgers trend has to be concerning for the fans.
Multiple insiders have now suggested that Kwan would be a logical trade candidate for the Dodgers to acquire.
The latest is The Athletic's Jim Bowden.
He proposes Kwan to the Dodgers for outfield prospect Josue De Paula.
"The Dodgers will love the Gold Glove-winning Kwan, who at the plate also provides them more traffic for the dangerous middle of their lineup, while the Guardians win the deal in the long run by gaining a potential middle-of-the-order star in De Paula," Bowden writes.

The Guardians are led by Jose Ramirez, but Kwan is easily their second-most important player in the batting lineup.
He's a great contact bat atop the order and is a star defender in left field.
Could Cleveland really move him?
Just from an energy standpoint, it sends a terrible message. It suggests the Guardians don't want to compete as much in 2026.
Kwan has two years remaining on his contract. This is the timeline that the Guardians often get rid of players on to gain future assets.
But it'd be especially tough for Cleveland fans to watch Kwan go.
