The Cleveland Guardians' outfield has been a wasteland.
Thankfully for the Guardians, Steven Kwan came along and made left field his home. Because the other two spots have been a mess for a long time.
Each offseason, Cleveland is then linked to a variety of outfielders, and they often get one or two, although never the most expensive.
But whoever the Guardians throw out there seems to flop.
They've got to keep trying, though, and one name who seems like he'd genuinely help is Harrison Bader.
Bader is a free agent centerfielder who began the 2025 season with the Minnesota Twins and finished it with the Phillies.
MLB.com's Andrew Simon listed Bader as a "perfect fit" for the Guardians in an article this week.
"This is a team with a constant need in the outfield, and one that had a historic lack of right-handed batters in its lineup in 2025," Simon writes.

The Guardians find themselves in a constant state of trying to do more with less.
But to have a good centerfielder, sometimes you have to go out and get one.
Bader would fit the bill. He was fantastic down the stretch for the Phillies after the trade from the AL Central to the NL East.
Philadelphia might want him back, and Bader has other suitors, too. But the Guardians are a name that hasn't been connected to him much, and they'd certainly be a fascinating landing spot to see if Bader could end the outfield blues in Cleveland.
