The Cincinnati Reds have a storied history.
Four more players are set to officially be a part of it when they are inducted into the team's Hall of Fame this season.
The Reds announced Tuesday their new class of inductees:
- Aaron Harang
- Brandon Phillips
- Reggie Sanders
- Lou Piniella
Harang pitched in eight seasons for the Reds. He won 75 games and had a 4.28 ERA. That included back-to-back 16 win seasons, including a 2006 when he led the NL with six complete games.
Phillips spent 11 seasons in Cincinnati. He belted 191 home runs and stole 194 bases while playing some of the smoothest second base defense you'll ever see.

Sanders played for eight seasons with the Reds, batting.271 while hitting 125 home runs and stealing 158 bases. He made his lone All-Star Game in Cincinnati during a 1995 season when he batted.306.
Piniella managed three seasons with the Reds. His first was his best, when he took a team that finished 91-71 in the regular season all the way to the World Series title. They went 74-88 the following season before 90-72 in Piniella's final season in town.
Not a bad quartet -- four of the most important Reds of the last 35 years get well-deserved recognition.
