Aroldis Chapman is on one of the most unbelievable runs in the history of baseball.

The legendary closer, now with the Boston Red Sox, is on a stretch more dominant than a no-hitter.

The big left-hander hasn't allowed a hit in the last 41 batters he has faced.

There have been walks, so it's not a perfect game stretch. But a no-hitter requires 27 outs. Chapman is well beyond that.

No, it's not the same as throwing a no-hitter in a same game. But Chapman has been that unhittable of late.

The latest came on Wednesday night, when he struck out the side against the Baltimore Orioles to secure a save with a narrow one-run lead.

Thanks to this stretch, Chapman has lowered his season ERA to just a smidge over 1.00.

Opponents are hitting .120 against him.

He's been dominant for most of his MLB career, but even for Chapman, this is a whole different level.

It doesn't seem to matter that he's 37 years old. He still throws almost as hard as ever, and his secondary stuff is filthier than it has ever been.

If the Red Sox go to the ninth inning with a lead, it's safe.
