The Baltimore Orioles have come out as one of the most aggressive teams so far this offseason. They have made multiple moves to fill holes and potentially put a better product out on the field for the 2026 season.
They signed Ryan Helsley to help bolster the bullpen and signed Pete Alonso to man first base on a five-year deal. They also shored up the starting rotation by re-signing Zach Eflin and acquired Shane Baz in a trade with the Tampa Bay Rays.
They also acquired Taylor Ward in a trade with the Los Angeles Angels. However, with all these moves, the club may still not be done adding key players.

Orioles still linked to two-time All-Star pitcher despite rotational moves
While many fans would be happy with what the team has done so far, they still have time to add more key contributors. Framber Valdez is still sitting on the open market, and Baltimore has been tied to him all offseason.
MLB.com's Mark Feinsand believes the Orioles still have a chance to sign Valdez.
"Baltimore has already added Shane Baz in a trade with the Rays and re-signed Zach Eflin, but the need for a frontline starter remains."
Baltimore is still in need of a frontline starter, and Valdez is the best option available. He has years of experience on the mound in the regular season and postseason, and could command the starting rotation.
The lefty is coming off a season where he started 31 games, compiling a 13-11 record with a 3.66 ERA, and also pitched a career-high two complete games.
However, Baltimore has already spent a ton of money this offseason. But playing in a division like the American League East, they need all the help they can get.
