Both the Atlanta Braves and Houston Astros are aggressively kicking off their offseason following disappointing 2025 finishes, with neither the Braves nor the Astros securing a spot in October baseball.

Dubon, aged 31, has consistently performed for The Astros over the past few seasons, participating in a minimum of 132 games annually for the last three years. His versatility in covering any defensive position, coupled with his reliable hitting, will be a significant asset to the Braves in 2026.
During his 133 games with Houston in 2025, the previous Gold Glove recipient posted a.241 batting average, a.289 on-base percentage, a.355 slugging percentage, and a.644 OPS, along with seven homers and 33 RBIs.
Allen, aged 27, surpassed veteran Braves shortstop Orlando Arcia for the primary starting role last season, resulting in Arcia's designation for assignment at the beginning of 2026. His tenure in Atlanta only lasted that single year, as he began his professional baseball journey with the Athletics.
In 135 games, Allen posted a.221 batting average,.284 on-base percentage,.251 slugging percentage, and a.535 OPS, with 22 RBIs and 8 stolen bases. He was a finalist for the NL Gold Glove in 2025, and his defensive skills will now be a part of the Houston team.
