When does the Rodeo Houston

The 94th edition of RodeoHouston is scheduled for March 2-22, with 21 days of rodeo competition, concerts, and family attractions spread across NRG Stadium and the surrounding grounds. Organizers previously announced that this year’s schedule will again lean heavily on country music while mixing in Latin, regional Mexican, R&B, Christian, rock, and pop acts.​

Who has already been announced to perform at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo?

Thursday’s reveal is expected to confirm the remaining headliners following a pair of early announcements that set the tone for the 2026 season. Multi-platinum country artist Russell Dickerson was introduced in a Times Square pop-up concert this week and is set to perform Thursday, March 5, marking his first RodeoHouston appearance.

Rodeo officials have also locked in Texas-born star Cody Johnson for a rare, full-length, concert-only performance on the final night, Sunday, March 22, with Jon Pardi and Randy Houser set as special guests.​

When does the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo start?

The 2026 rodeo will open Monday, March 2, and run through Saturday, March 21, for traditional rodeo competition before Johnson’s standalone closer. 

How to buy tickets for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo?

Tickets for Cody Johnson’s March 22 concert are already on sale, while the rest of the 2026 concert tickets are scheduled to be released in two waves on Jan. 15.
