Kentucky Derby results: Who won the 2019 Kentucky Derby? Full order after disqualification changes winner image

For the first time in the 145 years of the Kentucky Derby, the horse that crossed the finish first was not the winner.

Country House, a 65-1 longshot, was deemed the winner following a lengthy 20-minute protest and review after it appeared Derby favorite Maximum Security had won the race. Upon review it was determined that Maximum Security impeded War of Will on the final turn, forcing Country House to take the turn wider than it should have.

The win was both trainer William Mott and jockey Flavien Prat's first Kentucky Derby win. At 65-1, Country House's win is the second largest upset in Kentucky Derby History, behind only Donerail's 1913 victory with 91-1 odds. The Preakness Stakes — the second leg of the Triple Crown will be held on May 18th.
