In the playoffs, Port Arthur Memorial has stayed unbeaten with four straight wins over Galena Park, A&M Consolidated, College Station and Barbers Hill by a combined 179–86, averaging nearly 45 points per game. They opened with a 42–0 shutout of Galena Park, then used a big second half to pull away from A&M Consolidated 44–27, followed with a 45–24 win over College Station and a 48–35 regional-final victory over Barbers Hill.​

Smithson Valley playoffs results 2025

In the playoffs, Smithson Valley has been almost untouchable, winning four games over Southside, Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial, Pieper and New Braunfels by a combined 137–14 with three shutouts. The Rangers beat Southside 49–0, CC Veterans 34–0, Pieper 30–14 and New Braunfels 24–0 to return to the semifinals, setting up Friday’s 7 p.m. Showdown with high-scoring Port Arthur Memorial at Legacy Stadium in Katy.
