It's regional final week in the North Carolina high school football playoffs.

State championship game matchups for the 2A through 7A classifications will be set after this week's games, several of which were moved up to Thursday from Friday due to inclement weather in the forecast.

The marquee matchup is the 7A West final, which pits Grimsley against Weddington in a showdown of the last two 4A state champions before reclassification. The Whirlies, ranked No. 17 in AllSportsPeople Top 25, are led by five-star QB and Tennessee signee Faizon Brandon. The Warriors will try to contain him with a stellar defense fronted by Notre Dame-bound four-star Thomas Davis Jr. And twin South Carolina commits Aiden and Andrew Harris.

One other big name to watch is four-star Oregon commit Kendre Harrison, who hopes to lead Reidsville to its second title game in three years after winning the 2A championship in 2023.

Here's how to watch all the action from across North Carolina this week.

Where to watch North Carolina HS football regional finals

The North Carolina regional finals will not be broadcast on traditional television but fans can stream most games live on the NFHS Network. See the full schedule below.

The NFHS Network offers two basic plans: an Annual Pass ($6.67 per month) or a Monthly Pass ($13.99 per month). These plans give subscribers the ability to watch live sporting events and create clips of their favorite moments from games.

North Carolina HS football playoff schedule

The state championship game matchups are already set in 8A and 1A, which have fewer teams in the bracket and one less round in the playoffs. Hough will play Millbrook for the 8A title next weekend, while Robbinsville will face Wilson Prep for the 1A crown.
