Fifteen title games at three sites in two days: It's football heaven for fans in California and beyond as north and south clash in the CIF State Football Championship Bowl Games.
The Open Division matchup will command the most attention in the state and around the country. AllSportsPeople Top 25 No. 15 Santa Margarita, led by first-year coach Carson Palmer, looks for its first title since 2011 against perennial power De La Salle, which is 12-0 and ranked No. 25 nationally.
The Spartans have won a record seven state championships but it has been 10 years since they last raised the trophy. Close on their heels is Folsom, which will play for the 1-AA crown behind BYU-bound QB Ryder Lyons in an attempt to win the school's sixth title, which would break a tie with Mater Dei for second on the all-time list.
Another CIF Bowl Game fixture looking to add to the trophy case is McClymonds. The Oakland school has seemingly played in just about every division there is and this year will vie for the 3-A title, which would be the Warriors' fifth overall and first since 2021.

The 2025 CIF State Football Championship Bowl Games will be played across three different sites:
- Saddleback College, Mission Viejo: Open, 1-AA, 1-A, 2-AA, 2-A
- Fullerton Union High School District Stadium: 3-AA, 3-A, 5-A, 6-AA, 7-AA
- Buena Park High School Stadium: 4-AA, 4-A, 5-AA, 6-A, 7-A
