Thanksgiving weekend saw a bountiful harvest of stats and standout players in Texas who helped assure their teams would keep playing in December.
And there were definitely some huge stat lines over the weekend.
Here’s a look at those top performers from the third week of the Texas playoffs. Also, readers can now vote on who they think should be the Texas Player of the Week. Vote as many times as you like until 11:59 p.m. CT on Sunday, and the winner will be announced next week.

Chase Ames, Dripping Springs
The junior quarterback had a perfect completion percentage in the Tigers’ 45-14 win against Medina Valley. He completed all 18 passes for 312 yards and six TDs.
Kaegan Ash, Mount Enterprise
The legend of Ash continues. Ash, the senior all-everything and Texas Tech coming, rushed for 448 yards on 34 carries with six TDs while recording nine tackles, a tackle for loss and a sack in the Wildcats’ 74-46 win against Overton in the 2A DII regional semifinals.
Jermaine Bishop Jr., Willis
Bishop, a senior and University of Texas commit, had quite a night in the Wildkats’ 38-32 win against Forney in the 6A DII regional semifinals. He caught 15 passes for 329 yards and three TDs - all coming in the second half - while adding 40 passing yards and a rushing TD. Bishop also ended the game by intercepting a pass on defense. He even had a 40-yard punt.
Cooper Bragg, Joaquin
Bragg, a junior, rushed for 262 yards on 20 carries with three TDs while adding a two-point conversion in the Rams’ 74-21 win against Elysian Fields in the 2A DI regional semifinals.
Zyon Brown, Alvarado
Brown, a junior, recorded seven total tackles - six of those solo - as well as five tackles for loss and three of the Indians’ 10 sacks in their 64-13 win against Springtown in the 4A DI regional semifinal round.
Carter Buck, Austin Lake Travis
Buck, a senior edge rusher, had a phenomenal game on defense in the Cavaliers’ 41-7 win against Laredo United. He was in on four tackles - all solo - and all four were tackles for loss. In addition, Buck recorded four sacks, and is already the school’s single-season leader in that category.
Tripp Davis, Barbers Hill
A senior receiver, Davis caught nine passes for 85 yards and added a rushing TD to help fuel a comeback for the Eagles, who rallied from a double-digit fourth quarter deficit to edge Pflugerville Weiss in overtime, 34-31.
KJ Edwards, Carthage
The Bulldogs’ senior standout tailback - a Texas A&M commit - became the school’s all-time leading rusher and leader in rushing TDs in his team’s 34-20 win against Texarkana Pleasant Grove. He rushed for 195 yards on 19 carries with three TDs.
Elvis Estrada, San Antonio Johnson
Estrada, a junior quarterback, completed 29-of-38 passes for 374 yards and four TDs in the Jaguars’ 29-28 win against Cibolo Steele.
Ethan Feaster, DeSoto
The Eagles’ standout receiver - a USC commit - caught 12 passes for 167 yards and scored four TDs as DeSoto rolled past The Woodlands College Park, 56-34, in the 6A DII regional semis.
Braylen Fisher, Fort Bend Crawford
Fisher, a junior quarterback, completed 15-of-26 passes for 253 yards and three TDs and rushed for another score in the Chargers’ 48-10 win against Longview Pine Tree in the 4A Division I regional semifinal round.
Brett Holloway, Melissa
A senior quarterback, Holloway completed 8-of-11 passes for 155 yards and three TDs while adding 300 yards rushing and two more scores as the Cardinals defeated nearby rival Anna, 49-7, in the 5A DII regional semifinals.
Cayden Humphrey, Pottsboro
The senior signal-caller was 17-of-32 passing for 281 yards and three TDs while adding 150 yards on a whopping 33 carries with two more scores in the Cardinals’ 37-33 win against Whitney in the 3A DI regional semifinals.
Evan Koehne, Celina
A junior tailback, Koehne rushed for 193 yards on 33 carries with two TDs as the Bobcats downed Decatur, 33-7, in the 4A DI regional semifinals.
Caleb Koenig, Mason
Koenig, a senior, rushed for 175 yards on 29 carries with two TDs and also caught a 41-yard TD pass as the Punchers outlasted Kenedy, 41-37.
Ray Lewis, Refugio
Lewis, a senior quarterback, completed 6-of-9 passes for 104 yards and a TD while adding 168 yards rushing on 17 carries and three TDs as the Bobcats dethroned defending 2A DI champion Ganado, 40-13, in the regional semifinal round.
Reid Macon, Amarillo West Plains
Macon threw for 264 yards and three TDs, completing 17-of-26 pass attempts as the Wolves downed Canyon, 35-3.
Lincoln Madrid, Midland Greenwood
Madrid completed 13-of-15 passes for 176 yards and two TDs and also was the team’s top rusher with 87 yards and three scores as the Rangers moved to 13-0 after a 36-21 win against Graham in the 4A DII regional semifinal round.
Jerry Meyer III, Waxahachie
Meyer, a junior quarterback, completed 23-of-36 passes for 359 yards and two TDs as the Indians fended off Cypress Ranch in overtime, 38-31, in the 6A DI regional semifinal round.
Camelo Perez, Cuero
Perez, a junior tailback, rushed for 174 yards on 20 carries and scored three TDs in the Gobblers’ 48-27 win against Rockport-Fulton.
Kaileb Peterson, Dickinson
A senior, Peterson rushed for 81 yards and scored two TDs while catching three passes for 51 yards and another TD as the Gators remained undefeated after a 55-16 win against Houston Strake Jesuit.
Mikail Trotter, South Oak Cliff
Trotter rushed for 236 yards on 16 carries and scored four TDs as the Golden Bears downed Terrell, 45-17, in the 5A DII regional semifinals.
Landen Williams-Callis, Richmond Randle
One of the premier running backs in the country, the Lions’ junior standout was at it again in an 83-20 win against Bastrop. He rushed for 326 yards on 18 carries and scored six TDs, adding to his season total with 49 trips to the end zone now.
Cayde Winters, West Texas
Winters rushed for 217 yards and scored three TDs as the Comanches downed New Home, 26-19, in the 2A DI regional semifinals.
Marcos Zapata, Sinton
Zapata, a junior running back, tallied 105 yards on 22 carries and scored twice as the Pirates downed Wimberley, 35-26.
