The Eagles enter Thursday’s game with a perfect 12-0 record. They have accumulated 627 points this season, due in large part to the play of Curtis, who recently signed with Vanderbilt, electing to stay in his hometown after having originally committed to play at Georgia.

Curtis has thrown for nearly 1,900 yards and 31 TDs this season. He has had at least 200 yards passing in four of the Eagles’ wins.

USJ enters Thursday’s title game with an 11-1 record. The Bruins’ lone defeat was by one point, 27-26, to Dyer County on Oct. 17.

The TSSAA BlueCross Bowl title games continue Thursday night through Saturday.
