Starting on Thursday, nine high school football state champions will be crowned in the state of Tennessee.
The 56th annual Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association football championships - also known as the BlueCross Bowl - kick off on Thursday and run through Saturday. All nine title games take place at Finley Stadium in Chattanooga.

Thursday’s title games will be in Division II-AA, Division II-A and II-AAA.
In II-AA, Franklin Road Academy takes on Battle Ground Academy. Then, one of the nation’s top quarterbacks plays his last high school football game later on Thursday. Jared Curtis - who recently signed with Vanderbilt after flipping from his original commitment to Georgia - and his Nashville Christian (11-1) teammates take on University School of Jackson in the II-A final.
Thursday night, in the II-AAA title game Thursday night, one of the nation’s top running backs will be in the spotlight. Chattanooga Baylor, led by junior standout David Gabriel Georges - who is one of the more highly recruited Class of ’27 running backs nationally - takes on Brentwood Academy.
Three more games take place on Friday, and the final three title games are set for Saturday.
