Five state championship trophies will be handed out in Arkansas high school football starting on Thursday.
The Arkansas Activities Association will be conducting five of its seven state title games this weekend in Little Rock at War Memorial Stadium.

Included in those five title games this weekend include those in the three highest classifications.
But the first championship game Thursday night will be the 8-man title game between Cedar Ridge and Woodlawn.
Two games on Friday will be the Class 2A title game involving East Poinsett County against Cross County. Then in the 7A championship game, defending champion Bryant goes up against Bentonville.
On Saturday, the 5A title game kicks things off between Hot Springs Lakeside and Pulaski Robinson. Then in the 6A title game, defending champion Greenwood faces Shiloh Christian in a rematch of last season’s championship.
Next week, the championship games will be conducted in classes 3A and 4A.
