It should've been impossible.

But Frisco Lone Star (Texas) only saw possible.

They trailed 12-time state champion Aledo, 52-35, with five minutes to play on Friday night.

When the clock was all zeros, the score was Lone Star 56, Aledo 52.

They had scored three touchdowns (and recovered a key onside kick) in the comeback that'll be talked about for generations.

With the win, Lone Star advances to the 5A Division I state championship. It'll be their first trip to the state final since 2015.

This is the scene for the lead with 34 seconds to play at the snap:

Lone Star clinched the win by recovering a fumble to end the game.

Obviously, this will all be remembered more fondly if the season ends with a victory, too.

But it'll be hard to ever forget this night.
