ORANGEBURG, South Carolina, Dec. 6 — The NEXT No. 25 Dutch Fork [Irmo, SC] Silver Foxes have worked their way back into The NEXT 25 "bubble" rankings just in time for South Carolina's SCHSL Class 5A title clash with the Summerville [SC] Green Wave.
Dutch Fork was ranked in The NEXT 25 early in the season before a 24-20 loss to the Oceanside Collegiate Academy [Mt. Pleasant, SC] Landsharks back on September 19. They haven't lost since, rolling up eight straight wins to claw their way back into the rankings.
Summerville, meanwhile, is 12-2, and they'll be looking to avenge their 35-21 loss to Dutch Fork in 2024's state title game.
