Tom Bean senior signal-caller Donnie Hooten named AllSportsPeople Player of the Week for Week 6

Tom Bean senior quarterback Donnie Hooten put up some big-time numbers to the lead the Tomcats to a 47-38 win over Tioga on Oct. 3.

Hooten completed 79% of his passes (37-of-47) for 316 yards and four touchdowns with one interception. He also rushed for 30 yards and two more scores on 11 carries.

For his efforts, Hooten earned AllSportsPeople Texas Player of the Week from Week 6 by vote, covering games played from Sept. 29-Oct. 5.
