This year's version of the Skins Game will feature four of the PGA Tour's top players: Keegan Bradley, Tommy Fleetwood, Shane Lowry and Xander Schauffele. Lowry will serve as a replacement for Justin Thomas, who announced earlier this month that he underwent surgery to address a nagging hip issue.

Here is a breakdown of the format for the Skins Game:
- Each hole is worth one point, which is called a "skin."

- However, if two or more players tie for the lowest score on a hole, that skin carries over to the next hole. That means the next hole would be worth two skins instead of one.
- Skins can continue to roll over until a player wins a hole outright, so one hole could eventually be worth several skins.
- This year's edition of the Skins Game will have a special "reverse purse." Each player will begin the event with $1 million, and fans can watch as the totals rise and fall throughout the day.
