Kai Trump, the oldest granddaughter of former President Donald Trump, made her LPGA debut Thursday and Friday at The Annika tournament at Pelican Golf Club in Bellair, Florida.
The 18-year-old, who has committed to the University of Miami women’s golf team for 2026, is emerging as an up-and-coming golf prospect. She won the 2022 Women’s Club Championship and the 2024 Ladies Club Championship at Trump International Palm Beach. Trump has also gained a large social media following, with more than 3.5 million followers on TikTok.
After receiving her first-ever opportunity to compete on the LPGA Tour with a tournament exemption for The Annika, Trump’s debut did not go as planned — which wasn’t unexpected, given her status as an amateur facing veteran players.
Trump finished with a total score of +18 over two rounds at Pelican Golf Club, placing 108th out of 108 golfers and missing the cut to continue into the weekend. She did show day-to-day improvement, shooting 83 in Round 1 and 75 in Round 2. After nine bogeys and two double bogeys on Thursday, Trump recorded four birdies on Friday.
AllSportsPeople tracked Kai Trump’s performance in The Annika tournament. Below is the Miami commit’s full score from her first LPGA event, along with updates and highlights from her performance.
