Welcome to the Week 13 edition of fantasy football starts and sits from AllSportsPeople.
"The Decider" is your one-stop shop for fantasy start/sit lineup advice in 2025 -- a unique mashup of rankings and matchup breakdowns to help you make those tough decisions on whom to play and not to play:
- There are several high-drafted fantasy players who should be in lineups every week when they're active. Those are the "regular starts."
- For those borderline options with favorable matchups, they are "stronger starts," while the recommended sits are "weaker starts."
- We're also basing our advice on 12-team, half-point PPR to split the difference between shallow and deep leagues and full-PPR and standard formats.
Going beyond the redraft league starts and sits, "The Decider" also includes some DFS picks for different styles of daily fantasy sports games on DraftKings and FanDuel.
Keep scrolling for how to put the best fantasy football lineups on "the field" for your critical seventh game with tips on starts and sits this week.
Note: I also published a Thanksgiving Start 'Em Sit 'Em so you can make your early-week lineup decisions.

Fantasy Football Week 13 Start 'Em: Quarterbacks
Must-start Week 13 QBs
- Jalen Hurts, Eagles (vs. CHI)
- Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs (at DAL)
- Drake Maye, Patriots (vs. NYG)
- Josh Allen, Bills (at PiT)
- Dak Prescott, Cowboys (vs. KC)
- Lamar Jackson, Ravens (vs. CIN)
- Justin Herbert, Chargers (vs. LV)
- Matthew Stafford, Rams (at CAR)
Strong Week 13 QB starts
9. Jaxson Dart, Giants (if he returns, at NE): He gets an extra day this week to return from his concussion and he can be busy vs. Maye but you can't trust Jameis Winston in a tough road matchup without his running.
10. Joe Burrow, Bengals (if he returns, at BAL): Burrow is likely needing to play without Tee Higgins (concussion) this week but gets Ja'Marr Chase back from suspension and there are plenty of weapons to get it done vs. A banged-up secondary with high volume vs. Lamar.
11. Jared Goff, Lions (vs. GB): Goff will be good for another 250 and 2 as his floor back at home, a 180 from the results against the Packers in Lambeau in Week 1.
12. Jacoby Brissett, Cardinals (at TB): He's been a more consistent fantasy asset than Kyler Murray and he will keep compiling against a weakened Buccaneers' pass defense.
13. Sam Darnold, Seahawks (vs. MIN): Revenge game narrative is in play, but he probably won't need to throw much because the Vikings didn't replace him with a competitive QB.
14. Trevor Lawrence, Jaguars (at TEN): He was sloppy with 3 more interceptions in Week 12 but he had his first 3-TD game since Week 2 just in time to be streamed in Nashville where Darnold did the job last week.
DFS QB Week 13 pick
- Trevor Lawrence, Jaguars (at TEN, $5,400 on DraftKings, $7,200 on FanDuel): More reason to play T-Law is that he has rebounded well with new go-to wideouts and also has some more tight end help. Lawrence can also run to help get his 3X return in both formats.
Fantasy Football Week 13 Sit 'Em: Quarterbacks
Weaker Week 13 QB plays
15. Caleb Williams, Bears (at PHI): He's getting it done in different ways in most weeks but this feels like a rough spot on the road against a defense that matches up well in the passing game.
16. Bo Nix, Broncos (at WAS): He can make a few big plays agianst this offense but the defense will ensure there's not much Commanders resistance.
17. Jordan Love, Packers (at DET): His passing yardage has been rather low and they need to run well and play their best defense to win this game.
18. Cam Ward, Titans (vs. JAX): Ward is starting to put it together with some preferred weapons but he still comes with massive risk.
19. Daniel Jones, Colts (vs. HOU): Not against the nasty Texans defense at home.
20. Brock Purdy, 49ers (at CLE): Not against the nasty Browns defense on the road.

Strong RB Week 13 plays
21. Kenneth Gainwell, Steelers (vs. BUF): He's now making it a 1-2 punch with Warren and the Bills are terrible against the run, catering to their game plan.
22. RJ Harvey, Broncos (at WAS): He'll be the main guy after the bye with JK Dobbins down and the Commanders are a good rollout for the rookie.
23. Kenneth Walker III, Seahawks (vs. MIN): He's getting the volume and producing well on the ground so let's hope for a touchdown again.
24. Omarion Hampton, Chargers (if he returns, vs. LV). Whether it's him or Kimani Vidal, this is a promising spot for him to complement a big day by the entire offense at home.
25. Woody Marks, Texans (at IND): He's the lead of this backfield, and the Colts did give a big volume day to the similarly skilled Hunt.
26. Sean Tucker, Buccaneers (vs. ARI): He should be leaned on plenty at home with Baker Mayfield (shoulder) unlikely to play vs. A tricky pass defense
27. Zach Charbonnet, Seahawks (vs. MIN): When Walker runs well, it usually means he comes through as at least a FLEX with red zone paydirt.
28. Devin Neal, Saints (at MIA): He has to get the key work as a runner and receiver with Alvin Kamara down and Taysom Hill still needed in wrinkle capacities.
DFS RB Week 13 Pick
- Breece Hall, Jets (vs. ATL, $6,000 on DraftKings, $7,400 on FanDuel): The Falcons' pass defense is rough downfield and the Jets don't have a lot of reliable receivers. Hall should be busy from scrimmage at home.
- Jaylen Warren, Steelers (vs. BUF, $6,300 on DraftKings, $7,200 on FanDuel): Warren and their running game is on fire and the Bills still haven't fixed their major problem stopping the run.
Fantasy Football Week 13 Sit 'Em: Running backs
Weaker RB Week 13 plays
29. Bam Knight, Cardinals (at TB): You can't go here just hoping for a TD with Michael Carter back to throw off the committee again.
30. D'Andre Swift, Bears (at PHI): He's got a revenge game back in his home town but he fumbled away a key shot at more high-leverage touches.
31. David Montgomery, Lions (vs. GB): He's not been playable for a while and has become a TD-dependent backup to Gibbs.
32. Chris Rodriguez Jr. Commanders (vs. DEN): He leads Washington's backfield now but that doesn't mean much in a brutal matchup.
33. Aaron Jones and 34. Jordan Mason, Vikings (at SEA): This whole offense stinks and is dragging down the committee backfield too and either of these guys need a TD to be a decent FLEX.
34. Tony Pollard, Titans (vs. JAX): Pollard has been dragged down by their offensive woes and constant negative game scripts.
35. Tyrone Tracy Jr., Giants (at NE): The Patriots are strong against the run and the Giants have lost their ground mojo minus Cam Skattebo.

- Ja'Marr Chase, Bengals (at BAL)
- Puka Nacua, Rams (at CAR)
- Amon-Ra St. Brown, Lions (vs. GB)
- CeeDee Lamb, Cowboys (vs. KC)
- Davante Adams, Rams (at CAR)
- George Pickens, Cowboys (vs. KC)

- A.J. Brown, Eagles (vs. CHI)
- Jaylen Waddle, Dolphins (vs. NO)
- Tetairoa McMillan, Panthers (vs. LAR)
- DK Metcalf, Steelers (vs. BUF)
- Courtland Sutton, Broncos (at WAS)
- Ladd McConkey, Chargers (vs. LV)
- DeVonta Smith, Eagles (vs. CHI)
- Justin Jefferson, Vikings (at SEA)
- Stefon Diggs, Patriots (vs. NYG)
- Michael Wilson, Cardinals (at TB)
- Xavier Worthy, Chiefs (at DAL)
- Quentin Johnston, Chargers (vs. LV)
- Rome Odunze, Bears (at PHI)
- Michael Pittman Jr., Colts (vs. HOU)
- Chris Olave, Saints (at MIA)
Strong WR Week 13 starts
25. Darnell Mooney, Falcons (at NYJ). He's the default No. 1 and looking like for Kirk Cousins again and there's no real worry about the Jets' corners inside or out.
26. Jameson Williams, Lions (vs. GB): He gets a big drop after a big zero on the Giants but he should carry the same big-play upside into this home affair.
27. Christian Watson, Packers (at DET): He needs to be their top target overall, and he has the size and speed to do some damage on the Lions.
28. Parker Washington, Jaguars (at TEN): He's clearly Lawrence's key go-to guy all over the field and he should be busy working over the Titans' secondary.
29. Jerry Jeudy, Browns (vs. SF): The 49ers can struggle with him a bit in coverage and Shedeur Sanders helps his value.
30. Troy Franklin, Broncos (at WAS). He has a good shot to come through with another big-play score on the road.
31. Keenan Allen, Chargers (vs. LV): It's a game again where every Chargers can get-well after the pre-bye Jaguars disaster.
32. Wan'Dale Robinson, Giants (at NE): Whether it's Dart or Winston, the key volume goes there in a likely negative game script this time.
33. Khalil Shakir, Bills (at PIT): He can get it done against a defense giving up big pass plays and also digits in the slot.
34. Jakobi Meyers, Jaguars (at TEN): You can keep playing him right along with Washington like they were Brian Thomas Jr. And Travis Hunter.
DFS WR Week 13 picks
- Ladd McConkey, Chargers (vs. LV, 6,300 on DraftKings, $7,600 on FanDuel): He will get going again after the bye with his versatile route-running and big-play ability vs. An overmatched Raiders' secondary.
- Khalil Shakir, Bills (at PIT, $5,500 on DraftKings, $6,300 on FanDuel): Shakir has to be a big factor in the passing game for Allen with speed and quickness for the open field.
- Parker Washington, Jaguars (at TEN, $5,400 on DraftKings, $5,600 on FanDuel): Washington once again is set up to match Lawrence to provide some 3X return at a very reasonable price on both sites.
Fantasy Football Week 13 Sit 'Em: Wide receivers
Weaker Week 13 WR plays
35. Zay Flowers, Ravens (vs. CIN): He's been so meh this season and the Bengals will be more of a running back-tight end attack for Baltimore.
36. Emeka Egbuka, Buccaneers (vs. ARI): The rookie has faded hard with the other injuries and the Bridgewater aspect says no.
37. Deebo Samuel, Commanders (vs. DEN): He'll be marked well by the secondary.
38. D.J. Moore, Bears (at PHI): He did some damage on the Steelers but it seems like a different dude at wideout every week.
39. Jauan Jennings, 49ers (at CLE): He might see some disciplinary action but regardless the defense says no.
40. Jordan Addison, Vikings (at SEA): The QB says no here.
41. Alec Pierce, Colts (vs. HOU): The defense says no here
42. Chimere Dike, Titans (vs. JAX): Everything says no here.
43. Ricky Pearsall, 49ers (at CLE): The 49ers have told you no here.

Stronger Week 13 TE starts
9. Oronde Gadsden II, Chargers (vs. LV): He needs to put right back in lineups because o the high overall upside of the passing and running.
10. Dalton Schultz, Texans (at IND): He should be rather active vs. Their kind of coverage with Sauce Gardner worrying a lot about Collins.
11. Cade Otton, Buccaneers (vs. ARI): Bridgewater is likely to target him often with Mayfield hurting and the Cardnals can by beaten by the position.
12. Juwan Johnson, Saints (at MIA): The matchup is good enoug to take a shot on his consistent looks as their default second-best wide receiver in hybrid form.
13. Theo Johnson, Giants (at NE): Whether it's Dart or not, he should be active vs. Their giving coverage.
14. Harold Fannin Jr., Browns (vs. SF): Deeper leagues can look at him with his decent connection early with Shedeur Sanders.
DFS TE Week 13 pick
- Juwan Johnson, Saints (at MIA, $4,200 on DraftKings, $5500 on FanDuel): The Dolphins struggle with some field-stretches and tight ends alike. He was active for Tyler Shough vs. The Falcons and be productive in garbage downfield to boost Olave.
Fantasy Football Week 13 Sit 'Em: Tight ends
Weaker TE Week 13 starts
15. Colston Loveland, Bears (at PHI): The Eagles have been rather in tough coverage on teh position for most of the season.
16. Dallas Goedert, Eagles (vs. CHI): This feels like the Brown-Smith show in the passing game again.
17. Hunter Henry, Patriots (vs. NYG): He loses his pristine matchup against the Bengals so you can go back to being lukewarm on playing him.
18. Brenton Strange, Jaguars (at TEN): This is more of a wide receiver game all over the field for Lawrence.
19. T.J. Hockenson, Vikings (at SEA): Leave the Hock as he's just being ripped down by the QB play, too.
20. Zach Ertz, Commanders (vs. DEN): Don't force any Commanders in the lineup.
21. Kyle Pitts, Falcons (at NYJ): It's sitll been the pits for him with Cousins.
