FANTASY LINEUP TIPS: Week 9 Start-Sit | Week 9 Sleepers | Week 9 Busts
Half-PPR flex rankings tips for Week 9
Half-PPR RB Week 9 lineup advice
- With Cam Skattebo out for the remainder of the season, Tyrone Tracy will step into an immediate increase in workload.
- D'Andre Swift is going to have a fabulous fantasy day against the Cincinnati Bengals; he is a must-start this week.
- With no Isiah Pacheco for Week 9, Kareem Hunt becomes an interesting start for fantasy.
- Continue to keep an eye on the Titans' backfield. Tyjae Spears has been impressive since his return.
Half-PPR WR Week 9 lineup advice
- There is no way you have a ton of confidence starting Quentin Johnston this week after the donut. I'd sit him down and see if he can get involved again first.
- Even with Puka Nacua possibly returning in Week 9, Davante Adams is still a top 10 WR in fantasy.
- George Pickens' target share has not decreased since CeeDee Lamb's return; he remains a must-start.
- Both Bills WRs are good starts this week in a highly anticipated matchup with the Chiefs.
Half-PPR TE Week 9 lineup advice
- Brock Bowers is set to return in Week 9. He is my TE1 for this week as well. There should be zero overreactions about him when he was injured.
- Until further notice, Oronde Gadsden is a weekly must-start at the TE position.
- Jake Ferguson has seen a dip in targets since CeeDee Lamb's return. However, at such a thin position, he's still a great option.

Who are the best Half-PPR flex Week 9 sleepers?
Bam Knight, RB, Cardinals: The strategy for fantasy football in 2025 is straightforward: start all players facing the Dallas Cowboys. Since the Cardinals face the Cowboys in Week 9, you should start every Cardinal on your team. Knight remains the RB1 for this offense, especially with Trey Benson on IR. The Cowboys recently allowed RJ Harvey to produce an RB6 overall week.
Jordan Addison, WR, Vikings: Many fantasy managers might be avoiding the Vikings this week. Although it will be a challenging day overall, the game script should favor Minnesota and its pass catchers. Despite a tough showing in Week 8 on TNF, Addison delivered a solid fantasy performance. Expect similar results, as the Vikings will likely pass frequently in the second half.
Who are the top bust candidates in Half-PPR fantasy this week?
Matthew Golden, WR, Packers: When Jayden Reed got injured, it was Golden's chance to step into a significant role. However, that role went to Tucker Kraft and Romeo Doubs. Golden is not reliable in fantasy, and the Week 9 matchup isn't favorable either.
Jordan Mason, RB, Vikings: Mason was a reliable RB while Aaron Jones was on IR. Now that Jones is back, you'll need to be more selective with your matchups involving Mason. Week 9 isn’t a good matchup against the Detroit Lions, who give the fourth least FPPG to RBs
