Fantasy Football 12-team Standard Non-PPR mock draft 2025: Round by round breakdown image

Mock drafts are one of the most helpful things you can do to prepare for your fantasy football drafts. Getting an idea of which rounds players are going and getting the feel of drafting a roster is extremely beneficial.

If you are a visual learner, here's what a 12-team, standard non-PPR draft might look like.

While it's near impossible to know exactly what your draft mates will do when they're on the clock, having a general game plan based on where you are picking gives you an advantage.

That's how we suggest you use this article and mock drafts in general, getting a feel for the ADP and where certain positions go off the board.

We'll break this mock draft down for you, giving notes on each round. Highlighting our favorite picks and best values that you can keep note of for when you are on the clock.

TIPS TO WIN YOUR LEAGUE: 2025 Fantasy Draft Kit

12-team standard non-PPR mock draft for 2025

Round 1

1. Ja'Marr Chase, WR, Bengals

2. Saquon Barkley, RB, Eagles

3. Bijan Robinson, RB, Falcons

4. Jahmyr Gibbs, RB, Lions

5. Justin Jefferson, WR, Vikings

6. CeeDee Lamb, WR, Cowboys

7. Nico Collins, WR, Texans

8. Christian McCaffrey, RB, 49ers

9. Derrick Henry, RB, Ravens

10. Puka Nacua, WR, Rams

11. Ashton Jeanty, RB, Raiders

12. Brian Thomas Jr., WR, Jaguars

Notes

  • Even with the scoring favoring RBs, Ja'Marr Chase still goes off the board as the 1.01
  • Saquon Barkley is the first RB taken, despite the younger talent right behind him

Favorite Pick: Christian McCaffrey

If CMC is healthy, he could easily finish as the RB1, getting him at Pick 8 is a steal in standard scoring.

Worst Pick: Justin Jefferson

Jefferson should not be going ahead of the two WRs behind him, let alone ahead of RBs such as CMC or Henry in a standard league.

Round 2

1. Malik Nabers, WR, Giants

2. Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR, Lions

3. Josh Jacobs, RB, Packers

4. Jonathan Taylor, RB, Colts

5. Chase Brown, RB, Bengals

6. Drake London, WR, Falcons

7. A.J. Brown, WR, Eagles

8. Bucky Irving, RB, Bucs

9. George Kittle, TE, 49ers

10. De'Von Achane, RB, Dolphins

11. Brock Bowers, TE, Raiders

12. Kyren Williams, RB, Rams

Notes

  • George Kittle as the first TE off the board is surprising
  • Malik Nabers falling to Round 2 is criminal

Favorite Pick: Brock Bowers

Getting Bowers as the TE2 off the board should never happen; he should always be the TE1.

Worst Pick: George Kittle

This goes hand in hand with my favorite pick, Kittle should not be drafted as the TE1, nor should he go in Round 2.

Round 3

1. Ladd McConkey, WR, Chargers

2. Josh Allen, QB, Bills

3. Mike Evans, WR, Bucs

4. Lamar Jackson, QB, Ravens

5. Trey McBride, TE, Cardinals

6. Tee Higgins, WR, Bengals

7. Terry McLaurin, WR, Commanders

8. Omarion Hampton, RB, Chargers

9. Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR, Seahawks

10. Jayden Daniels, QB, Commanders

11. James Cook, RB, Bills

12. Tyreek Hill, WR, Dolphins

Notes

  • Round 3 sees the 3 top QBs go off the board
  • Just two RBs get selected in Round 3

Favorite Pick: Trey McBride

Getting McBride not just in Round 3, but as the TE3 off the board is great value.

Worst Pick: Tyreek Hill

Hill's big name is carrying his ADP; I would much rather have some of the RBs that went in Round 4.

Round 4

1. Kenneth Walker III, RB, Seahawks

2. Alvin Kamara, RB, Saints

3. Davante Adams, WR, Rams

4. Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Cardinals

5. Joe Burrow, QB, Bengals

6. Chuba Hubbard, RB, Panthers

7. Jalen Hurts, QB, Eagles

8. Breece Hall, RB, Jets

9. Garrett Wilson, RB, Jets

10. James Conner, RB, Cardinals

11. DJ Moore, WR, Bears

12. TreVeyon Henderson, RB, Patriots

Notes

  • Joe Burrow goes ahead of Jalen Hurts in Round 4
  • Seven RBs go off the board in Round 4, the most in a single round in this draft

Favorite Pick: Jalen Hurts

Getting a consistently dominant fantasy QB like Hurts in Round 4 is as valuable a pick as you can make.

Worst Pick: Joe Burrow

Burrow is by far my least favorite pick in all of 2025 drafts; he certainly should not go before Hurts. I don't get it, unless you have Ja'Marr Chase.

Round 5

1. Courtland Sutton, WR, Broncos

2. DK Metcalf, WR, Steelers

3. Jameson Williams, WR, Lions

4. Xavier Worthy, WR, Chiefs

5. Rashee Rice, WR, Chiefs

6. D'Andre Swift, RB, Bears

7. David Montgomery, RB, Lions

8. Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Panthers

9. Calvin Ridley, WR, Titans

10.DeVonta Smith, WR, Eagles

11. George Pickens, WR, Cowboys

12. RJ Harvey, RB, Broncos

Notes

  • Nine WRs get selected in Round 5
  • The Chiefs' WRs go right next to each other despite the Rashee Rice suspension

Favorite Pick: Rashee Rice

Drafting Rice has to be looked at as an investment. It does not matter how good your roster is at the beginning of the season. When Rice comes back, he'll offer elite upside due to his high volume.

Worst Pick: None

This is a little unprecedented, but why wouldn't I be honest? I like every player that got drafted in this round; they all offer decent value.

Round 6

1. Aaron Jones Sr., RB, Vikings

2. Patrick Mahomes II, QB, Chiefs

3. Tony Pollard, RB, Titans

4. Sam LaPorta, TE, Lions

5. Jerry Jeudy, WR, Browns

6. Baker Mayfield, QB, Bucs

7. Isiah Pacheco, RB, Chiefs

8. Zay Flowers, WR, Ravens

9. Jaylen Waddle, WR, Dolphins

10. Justin Fields, QB, Jets

11. Kaleb Johnson, RB, Steelers

12. T.J. Hockenson, TE, Vikings

Notes

  • Three QBs go in Round 6, tied for the most with Round 3
  • Patrick Mahomes II getting drafted as the QB6 is...interesting

Favorite Pick: Tony Pollard

Pollard is not getting nearly as much recognition as he should for a great season last year. Plus, Tyjae Spears is starting the year on IR.

Worst Pick: Patrick Mahomes II

Mahomes getting picked at QB6 is him getting picked at his ceiling; there are many better options after him.

Round 7

1. Tyrone Tracy Jr., RB, Giants

2. Travis Hunter, WR/DB, Jaguars

3. Rome Odunze, WR, Bears

4. Jordan Mason, RB, Vikings

5. Jaylen Warren, RB, Steelers

6. Travis Etienne Jr., RB, Jaguars

7. J.K. Dobbins, RB, Broncos

8. Travis Kelce, TE, Chiefs

9. Bo Nix, QB, Broncos

10. Jacory Croskey-Merritt, RB, Commanders

11. Ricky Pearsall, WR, 49ers

12. Mark Andrews, TE, Ravens

Notes

  • Jaylen Warren, even though he is the starter, goes behind Kaleb Johnson
  • Jacory Croskey-Merritt climbs his way up to Round 7

Favorite Pick: Bo Nix

From a pure value standpoint. Nix off the board as the QB9 is his floor.

Worst Pick: Travis Kelce

The opposite of value is Kelce in Round 7. He'll get off to a better start with Rice's suspension, but will be lackluster late in the season.

Round 8

1. Kyler Murray, QB, Cardinals

2. Zach Charbonnet, RB, Seahawks

3. Tank Bigsby, RB, Jaguars

4. Chris Olave, WR, Saints

5. Emeka Egbuka, WR, Bucs

6.  Braelon Allen, RB, Jets

7. Javonte Williams, RB, Cowboys

8. Jared Goff, QB, Lions

9. Rhamondre Stevenson, RB, Patriots

10. Joe Mixon, RB, Texans

11. Quinshon Judkins, RB, Browns

12. Brian Robinson Jr., RB, 49ers

Notes

  • Zach Charbonnet is not getting drafted as a handcuff anymore; if Walker stays healthy, this is a reach
  • Same thing with Braelon Allen, getting drafted more as the 1B, like the Jets are mentioning

Favorite Pick: Emeka Egbuka

Egbuka has risen tremendously in drafts, but not high enough because this is a great value.

Worst Pick: Joe Mixon

There is not much to say about this pick; it's a pure overpay for an old, injured RB.

Round 9

1. Jordan Addison, WR, Vikings

2. Chris Godwin Jr., WR, Bucs

3. Deebo Samuel Sr., WR, Commanders

4. Jayden Reed, WR, Packers

5. Cam Skattebo, RB, Giants

6. Jauan Jennings, WR, 49ers

7. Matthew Golden, WR, Packers

8. Stefon Diggs, WR, Patriots

9. Najee Harris, RB, Chargers

10. Nick Chubb, RB, Texans

11. Austin Ekeler, RB, Commanders

12. Tyjae Spears, RB, Titans

Notes

  • This is the round of the backup RBs; five of them go off the board
  • Both Packers WRs go near each other in Round 9

Favorite Pick: Matthew Golden

Getting the WR1 in any offense offers value; getting a talented rookie WR1 in Round 9, that's stealing

Worst Pick: Najee Harris

Harris is going to rise up on draft boards because he was recently activated, but he just logged his first practice since July, the season starts next week.

Round 10

1. Jakobi Meyers, WR, Raiders

2. Cooper Kupp, WR, Seahawks

3. Rashid Shaheed, WR, Saints

4. Khalil Shakir, WR, Bills

5. Michael Pittman Jr., WR, Colts

6. Tucker Kraft, TE, Packers

7. Keon Coleman, WR, Bills

8. Josh Downs, WR, Colts

9. Trey Benson, RB, Cardinals

10. Darnell Mooney, WR, Falcons

11. Rachaad White, RB, Bucs

12. Jaydon Blue, RB, Cowboys

Notes

  • Seven WRs go off the board in Round 10
  • The RB options seem to have drastically lessened in value

Favorite Pick: Jakobi Meyers

Meyers stands out like a sore thumb in Round 10; he is by far the best option here.

Worst Pick: Cooper Kupp

Kupp is being drafted because of his name; he's not going to return value here, and there are much more exciting options.

Round 11

1. Brandon Aiyuk, WR, 49ers

2. Jayden Higgins, WR, Texans

3. Ray Davis, RB, Bills

4. Rashod Bateman, WR, Ravens

5. Bhayshul Tuten, RB, Jaguars

6. Christian Kirk, WR, Texans

7. Tyler Allgeier, RB, Falcons

8. Jerome Ford, RB, Browns

9. Dylan Sampson, RB, Browns

10. Luther Burden III, WR, Bears

11. Marvin Mims Jr., WR, Broncos

12. Buffalo Bills, D/ST

Notes

  • The first defense goes off the board in Round 11
  • Brandon Aiyuk starts Round 11 off, even though he is going to start the season on the PUP list

Favorite Pick: Jayden Higgins

Super explosive rookie WR with a role already carved out for him, he's such a great pick here in Round 11.

Worst Pick: Buffalo Bills D/ST

I'm going to let you in on a little secret: every D/ST taken before the dead last round is by far the worst pick, so even if I highlight another player for worst pick, just know it's really the D/ST.

2025 FANTASY AUCTION VALUES (PPR & STANDARD)

Overall | QB | RB | WR | TE | DEF/STK

Round 12

1. Isaac Guerendo, RB, 49ers

2. Keenan Allen, WR, Chargers

3. Cedric Tillman, WR, Browns

4. Denver Broncos, D/ST

5. Philadelphia Eagles, D/ST

6. Tyler Warren, TE, Colts

7. Colston Loveland, TE, Bears

8. Tre' Harris, WR, Chargers

9. Rico Dowdle, RB, Panthers

10. David Njoku, TE, Browns

11. Washington Commanders, D/ST

12. Pittsburgh Steelers, D/ST

Notes

  • Both rookie TEs go directly next to one another
  • Four D/STs get selected in Round 12

Favorite Pick(s): Tyler Warren or Colston Loveland

This may be cheating, but these two are interchangeable for me. Either way, the value is tremendous in Round 12.

Worst Pick: Isaac Guerendo

Guerendo lost all his handcuff value once Brian Robinson Jr. got traded to the Niners.

Round 13

1. Dak Prescott, QB, Cowboys

2. Jaylen Wright, RB, Dolphins

3. Evan Engram, TE, Broncos

4. Romeo Doubs, WR, Packers

5. Caleb Williams, QB, Bears

6. Baltimore Ravens, D/ST

7. Kyle Williams, WR, Patriots

8. DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Ravens

9. Roschon Johnson, RB, Bears

10. Dallas Goedert, TE, Eagles

11. Jake Ferguson, TE, Cowboys

12. Brock Purdy, QB, 49ers

Notes

  • Dak Prescott should rise in drafts with the recent Micah Parsons trade; the passing volume is going to be gigantic
  • Great value with the Evan Engram pick in Round 13

Favorite Pick: Brock Purdy

Purdy is one of the best late-round QBs in 2025; the discount because of a poor season last year is real.

Worst Pick: DeAndre Hopkins

Hopkins offers nothing in terms of fantasy value outside of some feasible weeks; there are better options available.

Round 14

1. Blake Corum, RB, Rams

2. Ollie Gordon II, RB, Dolphins

3. Will Shipley, RB, Eagles

4. Justin Herbert, QB, Chargers

5. Kyle Monangai, RB, Bears

6. Kendre Miller, RB, Saints

7. Woody Marks, RB, Texans

8. DJ Giddens, RB, Colts

9. Chris Rodriguez Jr., RB, Commanders

10. Houston Texans, D/ST

11. MarShawn Lloyd, RB, Packers

12. Drake Maye, QB, Patriots

Notes

  • Nine RBs go in Round 14, all of which are potential handcuffs.
  • Zero WRs go in Round 14; this only happens again in Round 16.

Favorite Pick: Drake Maye

Maye is a fantasy darling this year, and for good reason. Maye is a league winner, book it.

Worst Pick: Blake Corum

I just don't see the true value in taking Corum. Jarquez Hunter is the better backup RB.

Round 15

1. Kareem Hunt, RB, Chiefs

2. Jalen McMillan, WR, Bucs

3. Marquise Brown, WR, Chiefs

4. Minnesota Vikings, D/ST

5. Brandon Aubrey, K, Cowboys

6. Keaton Mitchell, RB, Ravens

7. Seattle Seahawks, D/ST

8. Dalton Kincaid, TE, Bills

9. Justice Hill, RB, Ravens

10. Kansas City Chiefs, D/ST

11. Cameron Dicker, K, Chargers

12. Joshua Palmer, WR, Bills

Notes

  • First kicker goes off the board in Round 15.

Favorite Pick: Brandon Aubrey

Getting Aubrey, the favorite to be K1 this season, in Round 15 is a great pick, but you should only draft kickers in the last two rounds.

Worst Pick: Jalen McMillan

McMillan is dealing with a neck injury, and even if he makes it back, his role is gone with the addition of Egbuka.

Round 16

1. Jake Bates, K, Lions

2. Detroit Lions, D/ST

3. Wil Lutz, K, Broncos

4. Chase McLaughlin, K, Bucs

5. Ka'imi Fairbairn, K, Texans

6. Chris Boswell, K, Steelers

7. Harrison Butler, K, Chiefs

8. San Francisco 49ers, D/ST

9. Evan McPherson, K, Bengals

10. Matt Gay, K, Rams

11. Tyler Bass, K, Bills

12. Jake Elliott, K, Eagles

Notes

  • Only kickers and D/STs go in Round 16.

Favorite Pick: Jake Bates

Worst Pick: Lions D/ST
