Fantasy Football 12-team half-PPR mock draft 2025: Breaking down 17 rounds image

What might a 17-round, 12-team half-point PPR draft look like for 2025 redraft leagues? It's time to clock in with a reasonable mock draft with round-by-round analysis.

Based on a combination of composite rankings and average draft positions (ADP), there are different types of initial rosters you can expect to construct from each of the 12 draft spots.

For the purposes of making this exercise more realistic, there will be a few curveballs thrown, with some players going earlier or later than expected. That will create a happy medium between "home" and "expert" drafters.

Additionally, to cover all the bases, we're operating with the following starting positions: 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 WR/RB/TE, 1 D/ST, and 1 K (10 total), plus 7 bench spots.

From Round 1 to Round 17, here's looking at and breaking down 204 mock draft picks for fantasy football.

12-team half-point PPR mock draft for 2025

Round 1

Junfu Han / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

  1. We're Here, We're Jahmyr: Jahmyr Gibbs, RB, Lions (1)
  2. Chase for the Championship: Ja'Marr Chase, WR, Bengals (2)
  3. Bijan Can Cook: Bijan Robinson, RB, Falcons (3)
  4. Saquon's Squad Goals: Saquon Barkley, RB, Eagles (4)
  5. Jefferson Superstarship: Justin Jefferson, WR, Vikings (5)
  6. CeeDee's Nuts: CeeDee Lamb, WR, Cowboys (6)
  7. BTJ Like Dynamite: Brian Thomas Jr., WR, Jaguars (7)
  8. King Henry the 8th (I Am): Derrick Henry, RB, Ravens (8)
  9. Like A Good Nabers: Malik Nabers, WR, Giants (9)
  10. Nico Magnifico: Nico Collins, WR, Texans (10)
  11. Amon-Ra Ra Guys: Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR, Lions (11)
  12. McCaffrey Fallin': Christian McCaffrey, RB, 49ers (12)

Chalk it up

There's a case for any of those top five picks to go No. 1, as there's a little separation for those three running backs and two wide receivers in the top overall tier. Gibbs is getting the most hype to displace Robinson and Chase at the moment.

Thomas vs. Nabers

Chase vs. Jefferson isn't the hottest LSU wideout debate. It's more of a question of which of the second-year first-rounders has the greatest upside. Based on QB, offensive system, and initial health, it's no real surprise for a BTJ edge.

Round 2

  1. McCaffrey Fallin': Puka Nacua, WR, Rams (13)
  2. Amon-Ra Ra Guys: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Raiders (14)
  3. Nico Magnifico: De'Von Achane, RB, Dolphins (15)
  4. Like A Good Nabers: A.J. Brown, WR, Eagles (16)
  5. King Henry the 8th (I Am): Davante Adams, WR, Rams (17)
  6. BTJ Like Dynamite: Bucky Irving, RB, Buccaneers (18)
  7. CeeDee's Nuts: Josh Jacobs, RB, Packers ( (19)
  8. Jefferson Superstarship: Brock Bowers, TE, Raiders (20)
  9. Saquon's Squad Goals: Jonathan Taylor, RB, Colts (21)
  10. Bijan Can Cook: Tee Higgins, WR, Bengals (22)
  11. Chase for the Championship: Drake London, WR, Falcons (23)
  12. We're Here, We're Jahmyr: Chase Brown, RB, Bengals (24)

1-2 punch

Most of the teams in this mock went for the RB-WR exacta to start the draft. Team Nabers and Team Chase, however, zagged for the value of going WR-WR, while Team Jefferson went further rogue with WR-TE. Stay tuned if any are going zero-RB. Meanwhile, Team Saquon and Team Jahmyr went for old-school RB-RB openings.

Dynamite Duo

Obvious K-Pop fan BTJ is that team: The one that keeps going for massive youthful upside with Thomas and Irving, ready to disrupt every round.

Not Chase-ing points

Team Chase had a chance to double up on Bengals Chases, but instead tapped into the Falcons' passing game. But was that a mistake? Let's see how it plays out at RB.

Round 3

  1. We're Here, We're Jahmyr: Tre McBride, TE, Cardinals (25)
  2. Chase for the Championship: Josh Allen, QB, Bills (26)
  3. Bijan Can Cook: Ladd McConkey, WR, Chargers (27)
  4. Saquon's Squad Goals: Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR, Seahawks (28)
  5. Jefferson Superstarship: Kyren Williams, RB, Rams (29)
  6. CeeDee's Nuts: Lamar Jackson, QB, Ravens (30)
  7. BTJ Like Dynamite: Jayden Daniels, QB, Commanders (31)
  8. King Henry the 8th (I Am): Tyreek Hill, WR, Dolphins (32)
  9. Like A Good Nabers: George Kittle, TE, 49ers (33)
  10. Nico Magnifico: Garrett Wilson, WR, Jets (34)
  11. Amon-Ra Ra Guys: Mike Evans, WR, Buccaneers (35)
  12. McCaffrey Fallin': James Cook, RB, Bills (36)

Zero RB?

With Team Jefferson getting a good RB value (Williams) and Team Nabers about ready to draft one Round 4, Team Chase gives away its plans to wait as long as possible to draft a running back by jumping on Allen early.

Hero RB?

Team Jahmyr and Team Saquon already have two RBs, so they are not doing this. But with a WR-WR after the first round, Team Bijan is primed to employ the strategy of having one stud RB and waiting on complements.

Living like Kings

Team Henry so far has its eponymous running back and two long-time stars at WR in Adams and Hill. It's official: The represent that grizzled drafter, looking for tried and true value. They are the antithesis of BTJ, who went second-year aggressive again for Daniels after Thomas and Irving.

Round 4

Jalen Hurts Eagles 081425

  1. McCaffrey Fallin': Jalen Hurts, QB, Eagles (37)
  2. Amon-Ra Ra Guys: Omarion Hampton, RB, Chargers (38)
  3. Nico Magnifico: Kenneth Walker III, RB, Seahawks (39)
  4. Like A Good Nabers; Breece Hall, RB, Jets (40)
  5. King Henry the 8th (I Am): Alvin Kamara, RB, Saints (41)
  6. BTJ Like Dynamite: Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Cardinals (42)
  7. CeeDee's Nuts: Terry McLaurin, WR, Commanders (43)
  8. Jefferson Superstarship: DK Metcalf, WR, Steelers (44)
  9. Saquon's Squad Goals: D.J. Moore, WR, Bears (45)
  10. Bijan Can Cook: Joe Burrow, QB, Broncos (46)
  11. Chase for the Championship: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Panthers (47)
  12. We're Here, We're Jahmyr: Chuba Hubbard, RB, Panthers (48)

Amon-Ra Ra Rookies

Team Amon-Ra had faith in one top running back, so it makes sense they also snagged the other (Hampton). That's a good youthful complement to St. Brown and Evans as seasoned wideout producers.

Teeing up a stack

Team Chase already had gone with Josh Allen at QB earlier, so it was clear for Team Bijan to land Burrow and put him with Higgins, one of the most reasonable QB-WR season-long combinations for 2025.

NON-PPR RANKINGS: TOP 300 Cheat Sheet | QB | RB | WR | TE

Round 5

  1. We're Here, We're Jahmyr: Courtland Sutton, WR, Broncos (49)
  2. Chase for the Championship: Jameson Williams, WR, Lions (50)
  3. Bijan Can Cook: DeVonta Smith, WR, Eagles (51)
  4. Saquon's Squad Goals: James Conner, RB, Cardinals (52)
  5. Jefferson Superstarship: TreVeyon Henderson, RB, Patriots (53)
  6. CeeDee's Nuts: Zay Flowers, WR, Ravens (54)
  7. BTJ Like Dynamite: Xavier Worthy, WR, Chiefs (55)
  8. King Henry the 8th (I Am): Calvin Ridley, WR, Titans (56)
  9. Like A Good Nabers: D'Andre Swift, RB, Bears (57)
  10. Nico Magnifico: Sam LaPorta, TE, Lions (58)
  11. Amon-Ra Ra Guys: George Pickens, WR, Cowboy(59)
  12. McCaffrey Fallin': Jaylen Waddle, WR, Dolphins (60)

Chase Checkin

Still no RB for Team Chase, but now, they're loaded at wide receiver with the top QB on the board. They can go tight end still before tapping into RB for the first time.

RB-heavy

Team Saquon has Jonathan Taylor and now Conner, too. They're set through the flex in most weeks with that trio, going the opposite direction of Team Chase.

Round 6

  1. McCaffrey Fallin': T.J. Hockenson, TE, Vikings (61)
  2. Amon-Ra Ra Guys: Tony Pollard, RB, Titans (62)
  3. Nico Magnifico: Travis Hunter, WR, Jaguars (63)
  4. Like A Good Nabers: David Montgomery, RB, Lions (64)
  5. King Henry the 8th (I Am): Patrick Mahomes, QB, Chiefs (65)
  6. BTJ Like Dynamite: RJ Harvey, RB, Broncos (66)
  7. CeeDee's Nuts: Isiah Pacheco, RB, Chiefs (67)
  8. Jefferson Superstarship: Baker Mayfield, QB, Buccaneers (68)
  9. Saquon's Squad Goals: Rome Odunze, WR, Bears (69)
  10. Bijan Can Cook: Travis Kelce, TE, Chiefs (70)
  11. Chase for the Championship: Mark Andrews, TE, Ravens (71)
  12. We're Here, We're Jahmyr: Jerry Jeudy, WR, Broncos (72)

Dynamite upside

After seeing Team Amon-Ra get Jeanty and Hampton, BTJ just had to keep up the youthful ceiling theme to Harvey, a pretty good RB2 for this spot, much like Team Jefferson getting TreVeyon Henderson a round earlier.

The two great debates

Mahomes vs. Mayfield in the middle of QB1s meets Kelce and Andrews in the middle of TE1s. Did the ol' Chiefs' big name-ness make them both go too high? It's still strange that Worthy went well ahead and Pacheco went right here, too.

Round 7

  1. We're Here, We're Jahmyr: Chris Olave, WR, Saints (73)
  2. Chase for the Championship: Kaleb Johnson, RB, Steelers (74)
  3. Bijan Can Cook: Rashee Rice, WR, Chiefs (75)
  4. Saquon's Squad Goals: Bo Nix, QB, Broncos (76)
  5. Jefferson Superstarship: Tyrone Tracy Jr., RB, Giants (77)
  6. CeeDee's Nuts: Aaron Jones, RB, Vikings (78)
  7. BTJ Like Dynamite: Ricky Pearsall, WR, 49ers (79)
  8. King Henry the 8th (I Am): David Njoku, TE, Browns (80)
  9. Like A Good Nabers: Kyler Murray, QB, Cardinals (81)
  10. Nico Magnifico: Jaylen Warren, RB, Steelers (82)
  11. Amon-Ra Ra Guys: Emeka Egbuka, WR, Buccaneers (83)
  12. McCaffrey Fallin': Stefon Diggs, WR, Patriots (84)

Chase For a RB

Kaleb Johnson, yet another, is a great indication of what kind of RB1 you can get if you play the Zero-RB game. If Johnson is the Steelers' workhorse, this would indeed pay off big-time.

Double Bucs

Team Amon-Ra has Evans, but it also wanted to tape more into Tampa Bay's passing game with Egbuka, in prime position to produce as a rookie with Chris Godwin on the mend and Jalen McMillan on the shelf.

Round 8

  1. McCaffrey Fallin': Jordan Addison, WR, Vikings (85)
  2. Amon-Ra Ra Guys: Brock Purdy, QB, 49ers (86)
  3. Nico Magnifico: Dak Prescott, QB, Cowboys (87)
  4. Like A Good Nabers: Jakobi Meyers, WR, Raiders (88)
  5. King Henry the 8th (I Am): Travis Etienne Jr., RB, Jaguars (89)
  6. BTJ Like Dynamite: Caleb Williams, QB, Bears (90)
  7. CeeDee's Nuts: Evan Engram, TE, Broncos (91)
  8. Jefferson Superstarship: Deebo Samuel Jr., WR, Commanders (92)
  9. Saquon's Squad Goals: Tyler Warren, TE, Colts (93)
  10. Bijan Can Cook: Jordan Mason, RB, Vikings (94)
  11. Chase for the Championship: Joe Mixon, RB, Texans (95)
  12. We're Here, We're Jahmyr: Justin Fields, QB, Jets (96)

The waiting game

Several teams waited to address the starting QB until this round. Be careful with that, because there will be a team such as upside-obsessed BTJ that sneaks in a second upside QB earlier than expected. This also says there were still some strong values at tight end as late as eight.

WARNING: Avoid these fantasy draft busts

Round 9

  1. We're Here, We're Jahmyr: Justin Herbert, QB, Chargers (97)
  2. Chase for the Championship: Zach Charbonnet, RB, Seahawks (98)
  3. Bijan Can Cook: Javonte Williams, RB, Cowboys (99)
  4. Saquon's Squad Goals: Drake Maye, QB, Patriots (100)
  5. Jefferson Superstarship: Jared Goff, QB, Lions (101)
  6. CeeDee's Nuts: Jauan Jennings, WR, 49ers (102)a
  7. BTJ Like Dynamite: Tucker Kraft, TE, Packers (103)
  8. King Henry the 8th (I Am): Khalil Shakir, WR, Bills (104)
  9. Like A Good Nabers: JK Dobbins, RB, Broncos (105)
  10. Nico Magnifico: Jayden Reed, WR, Packers (106)
  11. Amon-Ra Ra Guys: Tank Bigsby, RB, Jaguars (107)
  12. McCaffrey Fallin': Rhamondre Stevenson, RB, Patriots (108)

We're Here For Back-To-Back QBs

Team Jahmyr is hedging its bets with a couple of QBs with upside for a potential streaming matchup-based playtoon. Team Saquon is doing the same with Maye, just in case Bo Nix has a sophomore slump.

Chase for Charbonnet

The Seahawks' No. 2 is one of the best zero-RB targets on the board behind oft-injured Kenneth Walker in a new offense.

Round 10

Trevor Lawrence Brian Thomas Jr.

  1. McCaffrey Fallin': Jordan Love, QB, Packers (109)
  2. Amon-Ra Ra Guys: Jake Ferguson, TE, Cowboys (110)
  3. Nico Magnifico: C.J. Stroud, QB, Texans (111)
  4. Like A Good Nabers: Trevor Lawrence, QB, Jaguars (112)
  5. King Henry the 8th (I Am): Cam Skattebo, RB, Giants (113)
  6. BTJ Like Dynamite: Jacory Croskey-Merritt, Rb, Commanders (114)
  7. CeeDee's Nuts: Colston Loveland, TE, Bears (115)
  8. Jefferson Superstarship: Matthew Golden, WR, Packers (116)
  9. Saquon's Squad Goals: Michael Pittman Jr., WR, Colts (117)
  10. Bijan Can Cook: Cooper Kupp, WR, Seahawks (118)
  11. Chase for the Championship: Quinshon Judkins, RB, Browns (119)
  12. We're Here, We're Jahmyr: Austin Ekeler, RB, Commanders (120)

BTJ Gets JCM

Shocker! The team is going for all the young hyped players gets the new law firm in DC to add to RB. Don't be surprised if Croskey-Merritt keeps going up boards

Nabers hedges

Kyler Murray is a bit of a volatile pick, so it makes sense for the team to stash the massive upside of Lawrence on the early side.

Tight end turns the page

Ferguson ends the starting run a little later than expected, just in time for Loveland to begin the true backup run.

  2. Chase for the Championship: Josh Downs, WR, Colts (122)
  3. Bijan Can Cook: Tyler Allgeier, RB, Falcons (123)
  4. Saquon's Squad Goals: Braelon Allen, RB, Jets (124)
  5. Jefferson Superstarship: Tyjae Spears, RB, Titans (125)
  6. CeeDee's Nuts: Bryce Young, QB, Panthers (126)
  7. BTJ Like Dynamite: Dalton Kincaid, TE, Bills (127)
  8. King Henry the 8th (I Am): Najee Harris, RB, Chargers (128)
  9. Like A Good Nabers: Keon Coleman, WR, Bills (129)
  10. Nico Magnifico: Brandon Aiyuk, WR, 49ers (130)
  11. Amon-Ra Ra Guys: J.J. McCarthy, QB, Vikings (131)
  12. McCaffrey Fallin': Brian Robinson Jr., RB, 49ers (132)

It's cuffin' time

Team Bijan and Team McCaffrey get their important insurance. Yes, Robinson immediately becomes the preferred handcuff with his arrival in San Francisco.

Round 12

  1. McCaffrey Fallin': Kyle Pitts, TE, Falcons (133)
  2. Amon-Ra Ra Guys: Trey Benson, RB, Cardinals (134)
  3. Nico Magnifico: Ray Davis, RB, Bills (135)
  4. Like A Good Nabers: Jaydon Blue, RB, Cowboys (136)
  5. King Henry the 8th (I Am): Christian Kirk, WR, Texans (137)
  6. BTJ Like Dynamite: Rachaad White, RB, Buccaneers (138)
  7. CeeDee's Nuts: Nick Chubb, RB, Texans (139)
  8. Jefferson Superstarship: Dallas Goedert, TE, Eagles (140)
  9. Saquon's Squad Goals: Rashid Shaheed, WR, Saints (141)
  10. Bijan Can Cook: Hunter Henry, TE, Patriots (142)
  11. Chase for the Championship: Rashod Bateman, WR, Ravens (143)
  12. We're Here, We're Jahmyr: Chris Godwin, WR, Buccaneers (144)

Playing the lottery

Benson, Davis, Blue, and Chubb are the hopeful, lucky scratch-offs to fund a running pot of gold.

  11. Amon-Ra Ra Guys: Kyle Williams, WR, Patriots (155)
  12. McCaffrey Fallin': Marquise Brown, WR, Cheffs (156)

More cuffs, now with bye-week QBs!

Penix (for Joe Burrow) and Tua (for Josh Allen) are two (hopefully) one-week plays.

Oldies but goodies

Ertz and Allen are sneaky good aging veteran picks this late after their productive 2024 seasons.

Round 14

  1. McCaffrey Fallin: Bhayshul Tuten, RB, Jaguars (157)
  2. Amon-Ra Ra Guys: Rico Dowdle, RB, Panthers (158)

  9. Saquon's Squad Goals: Romeo Doubs, WR, Packers (165)
  10. Bijan Can Cook: Tre Harris, WR, Chargers (166)
  11. Chase for the Championship: Joshua Palmer, WR, Bills (167)
  12. We're Here, We're Jahmyr: Jonnu Smith, TE, Steelers (168)

More 'cuffs, more lottery tickets, now with dart throws

See, you can still get some intriguing value this late. Wright and Strange stand out most from this round, and of course, there are some "huh" picks, too.

Round 15

  1. We're Here, We're Jahmyr: Geno Smith, QB, Raiders (169)
  2. Chase for the Championship: Isaiah Likely, TE, Ravens (170)
  3. Bijan Can Cook: Wan'Dale Robinson, WR, Giants (171)
  4. Saquon's Squad Goals: Jalen Coker, WR, Panthers (172)
  5. Jefferson Superstarship: Sam Darnold, QB, Seahawks (173)
  6. CeeDee's Nuts: Kareem Hunt, RB, Chiefs (174)
  7. BTJ Like Dynamite: Elic Ayomanor, WR, Titans (175)
  8. King Henry the 8th (I Am): Keaton Mitchell, RB, Ravens (176)
  9. Like A Good Nabers: Jaxson Dart, QB, Giants (177)
  10. Nico Magnifico: Kyle Monagai, RB, Bears (178)
  11. Amon-Ra Ra Guys: Mason Taylor, TE, Jets (179)
  12. McCaffrey Fallin': Cam Ward, QB, Titans (180)

The wacky bonus rookie round!

The top half of these picks have some insurance and speculative sense. But it goes off the rails with fun upside guys to consider. Ayomanor, Dart, Monagai, Taylor, and Ward can be special if all the right opportunity knocks as rookies.

Round 16

  1. McCaffrey Fallin': Broncos D/ST (181)
  2. Amon-Ra Ra Guys: Eagles D/ST (182)
  3. Nico Magnifico: Steelers D/ST (183)
  4. Like A Good Nabers: Vikings D/ST (184)
  5. King Henry the 8th (I Am): Ravens D/ST (185)
  6. BTJ Like Dynamite: Texans D/ST (186)
  7. CeeDee's Nuts: Rams D/ST (187)
  8. Jefferson Superstarship: Bills D/ST (188)
  9. Saquon's Squad Goals: Chiefs D/ST (189)
  10. Bijan Can Cook: Seahawks D/ST (190)
  11. Chase for the Championship: Chargers D/ST (191)
  12. We're Here, We're Jahmyr: Lions D/ST (192)

Defending this run

Someone is guaranteed to take a defense before the double-digit rounds in most leagues. Some, however, will see the first D/St off the board somewhere in Rounds 12 through 14. To be honest, the matchup-best streaming strategy has been better of late with so much week-to-week unpredictability at this position. For this mock's purposes, this is a rough look, in order, of how the defenses may come off the board over multiple rounds.

Round 17

  1. We're Here, We're Jahmyr: Jake Bates, K, Lions (193)
  2. Chase for the Championship: Brandon Aubrey, K, Cowboys (194)
  3. Bijan Can Cook: Cameron Dicker, K, Chargers (195)
  4. Saquon's Squad Goals: Chase McLaughlin, K, Buccaneers (196)
  5. Jefferson Superstarship: Wil Lutz, K, Broncos (197)
  6. CeeDee's Nuts: Chris Boswell, K, Steelers (198)
  7. BTJ Like Dynamite: Jason Sanders, K, Dolphins (199)
  8. King Henry the 8th (I Am): Harrison Butker, K, Chiefs (200)
  9. Like A Good Nabers: Jake Elliott, K, Eagles (201)
  10. Nico Magnifico: Ka'imi Fairbairn, K, Texans (202)
  11. Amon-Ra Ra Guys: Tyler Bass, K, Bills (203)
  12. McCaffrey Fallin': Tyler Loop, K, Ravens (204)

Three extra points

If your league is still using kickers, you still should wait until the last round to take these positions. Why?

First, there's so much turnover in top scoring at the position. Only six kickers who finished in the top 12 in 2023 stayed there in 2024. One of them was Justin Tucker, who has been replaced by Loop.

Second, even the top few choices here — Aubrey, Dicker, Bates — don't guarantee having a huge scoring edge at the position, so it's pointless to go after them earlier than the last round. Third, it just feels right to kick fantasy's most fickle position down to the final pick.
