The New Orleans Saints are down one of their best players in Alvin Kamara for the Week 13 matchup against the Miami Dolphins. While New Orleans will turn to Devin Neal as the starter, there's bound to be another player to tote the ball some in this matchup.
Other than Neal, Taysom Hill might wind up being the number two running back. The backup running back for the Saints isn't the most appealing starting option for fantasy managers.
However, Hill is a bit different. On most fantasy platforms, Hill, the veteran Saints gadget player, is listed as a tight end. Instead of putting him into lineups at the running back spot, fantasy managers can slot Hill in as their tight end, providing immense value this week.
Why Taysom Hill is a great fantasy option for Week 13
As Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports, the backfield in New Orleans will be split between Neal and Hill. While a split backfield in New Orleans isn't the best fantasy asset, both Neal and Hill are startable options this week.
Neal is a decent flex play, especially in full PPR formats, while Hill is a sneaky good starting option at tight end against a weak Dolphins run defense.
For fantasy managers in deeper leagues or with major tight end concerns, going with Hill in Week 13 could be a sneaky good option in Week 13.
Hill will get some of the backfield work, evidenced by his 10 rushes in Week 12, and he could also factor into the receiving game, or even the passing game as well.

Most tight ends in fantasy aren't great options, so Hill, in a good matchup against the Dolphins, and likely to split backfield work with Neal, is a solid option for managers in a pinch.
Like most other tight ends, he comes with some major risk, but Hill could be a valuable fantasy asset this week. The reason why he's valuable is his ability to go into the tight end spot.
Hill isn't the best option for a flex spot, as his best value comes as a tight end for fantasy managers. But, for those in a pinch and needing a dart throw, there might not be a better option than Hill for the tight end spot.
