The Green Bay Packers made a roster move Saturday that makes it seem like Josh Jacobs won't be suiting up on Sunday.
They added another running back to the active roster, giving a fuller RB depth chart even if Jacobs is out.
The elevation was in the form of Pierre Strong Jr., the former Browns back.
If Jacobs is out, Emmanuel Wilson will start. He's a logical fantasy replacement for Jacobs.
Chris Brooks would be next up on the depth chart and would likely spell Wilson as well as catch a few passes.
Strong is a solid return man and special teams tackler, too, so he can fill a number of roles for the Packers.
A Strong promotion doesn't guarantee Jacobs is out for Sunday's Week 12 matchup with the Vikings, but it doesn't seem good.
Jacobs implied recently that he'd miss at most one game. He plans to be back for Week 13.
But if the Packers agree that Jacobs needs the one game of rest, then it'll be the group of Wilson, Brooks and Strong getting the carries against Minnesota.
