Leonard Gates
Gates qualified after winning the CDC Cross-Border Challenge.
He has qualified for this tournament for the third time in his career (2023, 2025, 2026).
He's made it out of the first round in both of his past appearances and he'll look to continue that streak this year as he faces off against Micky Mansell.
Gates beat Cameron Menzies 3-1 in 2025, but was eliminated by Nathan Aspinall in the second round.

Stowe Buntz
Buntz qualified for being the top-ranked CDC non-qualified player. Since Canada's Matt Campbell was ineligible to qualify through winning the North American Championship, an extra spot was given elsewhere, which Buntz claimed.
Buntz will be playing in his third PDC WC and 2026 will be his third appearance in a row. He'll face James Hurrell in the first round this year.
He hasn't won a game at Ally Pally yet, notably losing on a 170 checkout produced by Nick Kenny last year. The previous year, he lost 0-3 to Kevin Doets.
Buntz faced Luke Humphries in the first round of the U.S. Darts Masters this summer, putting up a quality fight in a 4-6 loss.

Alex Spellman
Spellman qualified by winning the CDC Continental Cup.
This will be Spellman's second career appearance at the PDC WC.
He's set to face Gabriel Clemens in the first round this year.
His sole appearance at the event was a 1-3 loss in the first round against Ryan Joyce in 2024.
Spellman was recently in the Grand Slam of Darts, but struggled quite a bit against quality competition, only winning four legs total across his three group stage matches.
Adam Sevada
Sevada qualified by being the top-ranked American on the CDC Pro Tour.
This will be his debut at Ally Pally after qualifying for the first time.
Sevada will face a fellow North American player in the first round, playing Canada's Matt Campbell.
