WNBA star Sophie Cunningham turns heads with injury update video image

WNBA star Sophie Cunningham just gave an update on her injury recovery process during a glam new video shared to her social media account.

The 29-year-old Indiana Fever player dropped the video on TikTok on Tuesday, August 26.

In the short, six-second clip, the University of Missouri alum rocked a crisp, white button-down shirt with a Fever corset tube top designed by San Francisco 49ers WAG Kristin Juszczyk, along with tiny shorts. She was full glam in the video with her long, signature blonde hair styled in loose curls, despite the knee brace perched on her leg. Cunningham accessorized the look with silver bracelets, a cross necklace, and bright red lipstick.

"Nawh I'm still down bad," she captioned the post, tagging San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk's wife, Kristin.

On her "Show Me Something" podcast earlier this week, Cunningham revealed to her co-host and friend West Wilson that she's going to be modeling for Kristin's Off Season clothing line, which is dropping a WNBA line on September 4. You may recall Kristin's fashion line blew up last year after she designed a custom Chiefs outfit for Taylor Swift. Her clothing line has since been worn for dozens of WAGs in various sports.

"Guess what. Guess who I kinda get to model for," Cunningham said. "She does all the really cool jackets for like all like the wives and stuff," she said. "I'm going to be one of the first W players to rock her style in tomorrow's tunnel fit."

During the episode, Cunningham also dished on her recent surgery and how she currently feels, telling Wilson, "Honestly real good."

"They went in there, and everything-oh, listen to this. They said for my age, and for what I do for a living, that my knees are looking real nice," the WNBA star said. "I've been doing a little bit of rehab. Lots of icing."

Cunningham underwent surgery for her knee-ending MCL tear on her right knee last week. The WNBA star is expected to make a full recovery.
