Stephen Curry does not play about his wife.

Killer Mike was under fire last month for the comments he made about Steph's wife, Ayesha Curry.

What did Killer Mike say about Ayesha Curry?

It began when TikTok user @boowoodz234 made a video about Ayesha, alleging that the mom of four uses “every opportunity to embarrass” her husband. The creator likened her to follow in rap lyrics performed by Memphis rapper, GloRilla.

“She wants to go be GloRilla or some sh–,” Woodz says in the video. “Like, we get it, bro. Just go drop an album or some sh–.”

Killer Mike responded in the comment section, agreeing with the content creator.

“My n—a said she wanna go be Glo!!! Man, Steph doesn’t deserve the embarrassment [for real]. God bless him,” Killer Mike commented on the video.

Curry jumped in the comment section to defend his wife and shared his disappointment in the "Run" emcee.

“@killermike naaaaa not you Mike,” Curry wrote, responding to the rapper's since-deleted comment. “I’m cool [staying] silent and letting these other clowns have [their] moment! And you’re the worst of them @boowoodz234. But you’re better than that @killermike. Stay in your lane and let God keep blessing me like he is. We r good over here.”

How did Killer Mike apologize?

On the latest episode of Shannon Sharpe's Club Shay Shay podcast, the four-time Grammy-winning rapper apologized for his comments about Ayesha and praised the Golden State Warriors star for praising and standing up for his wife.

“Step Curry! Ayesha Curry! Boy, my wife done cussed me out. My oldest daughter called me. My youngest daughter called me. My homeboys that have played in the NBA called me. And I realized that maybe I shouldn’t smoke and get on Instagram. So let me say this, cause I appreciate you checking it—it shows you have a tremendous amount of respect for me—Mrs. Ayesha Curry and her husband Steph, I apologize for my statement being misconstrued.”

At the time of this writing, neither Steph nor Ayesha has responded to the rapper.
