Vanessa Bryant honored her late husband and NBA icon Kobe Bryant on what would have been his 47th birthday.

"We love and miss you and Gigi so much. Sending our love to you. Happy birthday, baby, [red heart emoji]" Vanessa wrote in the caption of a photo of her kissing Kobe on the cheek.

Natalia, Kobe, and Vanessa's oldest daughter also shared a tribute to her late father with a photo on her Instagram Story, writing, "Happy birthday daddy [red heart emoji]."

Vanessa and Kobe are also parents to Bianka and Capri, along with Natalia and Gigi.

The Bryant family also honored Kobe on August 8, which is another date on which the NBA icon is remembered in reference to his No. 8 jersey number (Kobe also wore No. 24) at Dodgers Bobblehead Night.

Tomorrow, August 24, Kobe will be honored again as Orange County has also declared August 24th as "Kobe Bryant Day."

Kobe has been memorialized in several ways since the five years after his passing. The Los Angeles Lakers, where Kobe played 20 seasons, retired both his No. 8 and No. 24 jersey. He is the first NBA player to have two jerseys retired by the same team. The Lakers also honored the late NBA star with a 19-foot bronze statue of him outside the Crypto.com Arena. His memory still lives on through the Mamba & Mambacita Foundation (renamed from Mamba Sports Foundation in Feb. 2020 to honor Gigi), which provides opportunities for "creating positive impact for underserved athletes and boys & girls in sports.

Kobe and his second-oldest daughter, Gianna Bryant, tragically died in a helicopter crash with seven others back in 2020.
