Travis Kelce scored his second touchdown of the season, and fans are convinced that his celebration in the end zone was in reference to a new song by his fiancée, Taylor Swift.

On Monday Night Football (Oct. 27), the Kansas City Chiefs faced the Washington Commanders at Arrowhead Stadium. During the third quarter, Kelce received a 10-yard touchdown pass from Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, where the tight end seemingly addressed the lyrics in Swift's "The Fate of Ophelia."

Kelce seemingly motions with his hands, “Pledge allegiance to your hands, your team, your vibes,” by raising his arm in the motion of the Pledge of Allegiance, as well as pointing out his hands, team, and his enthusiastic personality by shaking his body in celebration.

"If you count the beats, he’s doing it to the rhythm too!" One fan pointed out.

"The Fate of Ophelia" is the intro track to Swift's The Life of a Showgirl, which was released on Oct. 3. This track in particular has been No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for three consecutive weeks.

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's relationship

Kelce and Swift have been dating since 2023, and back in August, the three-time Super Bowl champion proposed to the singer. The couple announced their engagement on social media.

"Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married," the caption read, alongside photos of their garden proposal.

While promoting her new album, the singer had several late-night TV interviews, and she gushed about how happy she was following her engagement. In an interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, she praised Kelce and the gorgeous ring he gave her.

“He’s just my favorite person I’ve ever met — no offense to everyone else. But the fact that this is the person that I get to hang out with every day forever … that’s the whole thing of it. You look at [the ring] and you’re like, ‘I get to hang out with him forever,’ and this represents that.”

Kelce revealed he got emotional while proposing to Swift and also shared how happy he is to be with her forever.

“I’m an emotional guy, so there were a few tears here and there,” he told Fox's Erin Andrews. "But it’s been an exciting ride up to this day, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her.”
