People were rooting for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce since the beginning.

In episode four of Swift's The Eras Tour: The End Of An Era, which is now streaming on Disney+, Andrea Swift, the singer's mom, shared how she was able to connect her daughter with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.

"I want to tell the story, because it’s a really cool story," Swift's mom said, with the singer encouraging her mother, "Mom, tell the story."

Andrea began doing her own research on the three-time Super Bowl champion after Kelce failed to give his customized friendship bracelet to the singer when she had a stop in Kansas City on her Eras Tour.

"I'm looking at the headlines and perusing around what's on the internet and I see that this guy came to your show and he brought a friendship bracelet and wants to meet you," Andrea says. Curious, Mama Swift called her cousin Robin, dubbed the "resident expert on Kansas City Chiefs."

During Swift's guest appearance on Kelce's podcast, New Heights, which he co-hosts with Jason Kelce, the singer noted that she "never" has seen the original bracelet and that "he threw a tantrum. He threw a man tantrum, it’s so funny. This dude didn’t get a meet and greet, and he’s making it everyone’s problem; that’s what I thought at first.”

Despite being a little hurt that Kelce couldn't give her his bracelet, he scored some points with Andrea.

"And she goes, 'Oh, my God, he's the nicest guy, and you know what, he really loves his mom,'" Andrea recalled referring to Donna Kelce. "And I went ding, ding, ding, ding, ding."

Swift started smiling and laughing as she finished the story for her mom, "And so you call me up with this tone of, 'Hey, so I know you're gonna not react well to this, but there's a guy.'"

Andrea interjected with, "He's really cute."

"You said something to the effect of like, 'You gotta start doing something different,'" Swift adds.

Andrea continued with sharing how "sweet" and thought Kelce's gesture was to the singer.

"I thought it was the sweetest thing in the world that he came to your show. He brought you something from your world. To me that really said a lot. I thought that was really sweet and I liked it."

Soon after Kelce's gesture -- and his plea on New Heights -- the couple started dating, and he would later join the singer on tour for a couple of her tour dates, including the London show where he performed on stage alongside her.

Kelce proposed to Swift back in August after two years of dating, and are now rumored to be getting married in Rhode Island on June 13, 2026.

The first four episodes of The Eras Tour: The End Of An Era are streaming now on Disney+.
