Basketball and football collided on Sunday (Oct. 12) with the addition of WNBA's Caitlin Clark joining Taylor Swift for a Kansas City Chiefs game.
During the first quarter of the game, Swift was seen chatting with Clark and her future father-in-law, Ed Kelce. This is not the first time that Clark has joined Swift at a Chiefs game, as she made her first appearance last season. Back in January, Clark made her debut at the Chiefs game with Swift when they faced the Houston Texans.

The Chiefs faced the Detroit Lions at Arrowhead Stadium, where Travis Kelce's fiancée, Swift, and Indiana Fever's Clark rooted for the Chiefs to bring home a win. The Chiefs did just that by beating the Lions 30-17 and getting their third win of the season.
Caitlin Clark speaks on Taylor Swift friendship
Clark has referred to herself as a Swiftie and has a budding relationship with the singer. She shared what it is like to be friends with her and watch the Chiefs games together.
"Taylor is obviously very sweet and very kind and, you know, it's just a good reminder of like people in our position, like we're very normal," said Clark to the Swarmcast podcast earlier this year.
"Sometimes our lives aren't normal but like we're very normal people and we enjoy doing fun things too. We enjoy watching sports. We enjoy hanging out with our friends and things like that," she continued.
Swift has gotten sneakier with her entrances this season and so far has attended three games, which were all at home at Arrowhead Stadium. Broadcast cameras have only seen a glimpse of her during the game, and she has yet to have a walkthrough appearance this season. Her change in how she arrives at Chiefs games follows her New Heights podcast episode, where she not only announced her 12th studio album --The Life of a Showgirl -- but also how NFL fans feel about seeing her on their TV.
"As we all know, you guys have a lot of male sports fans that listen to your podcast," she said. "I think we all know that if there’s one thing that male sports fans want to see in their spaces and on their screens — it’s more of me.”
Despite what others might think of Swift's appearances, the Swifties still love her pop-ups at games.
