Nina Dobrev is having fun in Mexico amid her split from Shaun White.
The actress was photographed in a black-and-white bikini with a drink in her hand as she soaked up the sun overseas in photos obtained by Page Six. The Vampire Diaries alum paired her halter bikini top with matching thong-style bottoms as she chatted with took a dip in the ocean with a friend. She celebrated her Thanksgiving a little differently this year as she enjoyed the company of her friend at a beach resort.
Dobrev's Mexico getaway follows her split with White after five years together. The couple got engaged back in November 2024, and in September, the pair split. A source told the Daily Mail at the time that they decided to end their relationship because their futures did not align.
“Shaun is retired and has had his last Olympics; he was very ready for marriage and kids and all that comes from that,” the insider explained. White's last competition was at the Beijing 2022 Winter Games. He finished fourth in the men’s halfpipe event.
“He was gearing up to be a father and wanting that life,” they continued. “As much as they had the same ideals and wanted to enjoy the same ride, they naturally couldn’t come together on a common goal and that was the strain on their relationship.”
The source alluded that both White and Dobrev were actively focused on their careers.
“Nina was on board but also very interested in seeing where her acting career was going to go, as that was and is very important to her,” the source noted.
Dobrev went viral for Halloween when she seemingly mocked her ex with her choice in costume this year. She was the bride of Chuckie -- a fictional serial killer -- while her friend dressed up as Chuckie. Fans believe that the actress was throwing shade towards her ex due to Chuckie also having red hair like White.
After their split, Dobrev sparked romance rumors with Zac Efron, but she later confirmed that they are just friends.
