Nina Dobrev might have made a shady move towards her ex, Shaun White, with her Halloween costume.
For Halloween this year, Dobrev was Tiffany Valentine, who is also known as the "bride of Chucky," referring to the fictional serial killer doll.
In her photos, posted to Instagram, the Originals actress wore a white dress, spider web tights, a blonde wig with black roots, and even had a chest tattoo like Valentine of Chucky's name over a pierced heart. Dobrev even got her friend to be Chucky wearing a short red wig, a striped jumpsuit over overalls, as well as his signature weapon -- a large knife.

While White is not a serial killer (thank goodness) the snowboarder and Chucky have their red hair in common. Additionally, Dobrev and White were set to be married after he proposed last year, so it's only fitting that the actress plays a vengeful bride.
Fans also picked up on the similarities and called it out in the comment section.
"I see you upgraded gingers," one fan wrote.
Another fan commented: "Glad to see Nina found another one to be Chucky than the redhaired guy who was intended at first.. Savage that she went with it anyway and just had a waaay better costume partner You go Girl!”
Why did Nina Dobrev and Shaun White split?
Before their split in September, the couple got engaged in November 2024. They were together for five years.
The news of their breakup shocked fans as the two were seen on various vacations together around the world and supporting one another at their respective events. However, according to a source per The Daily Mail, the couple called off their engagement after they had different perspectives on their futures.
“Shaun is retired and has had his last Olympics; he was very ready for marriage and kids and all that comes from that,” the insider explained. White's last competition was at the Beijing 2022 Winter Games. He finished fourth in the men’s halfpipe event.
“He was gearing up to be a father and wanting that life,” they continued. “As much as they had the same ideals and wanted to enjoy the same ride, they naturally couldn’t come together on a common goal and that was the strain on their relationship.”
After their split, Dobrev sparked romance rumors with Zac Efron, but she later confirmed that they are just friends.
