Nick Young ecstatic over alleged leaked D'Angelo Russell texts image

Nick Young went viral on Friday (July 25) after he was asked by several content creators how he felt about the rumored texts that got leaked between D'Angelo Russell and a woman who goes by "Jaw Morant." The woman's social media handle is a play on Memphis Grizzlies' Ja Morant.

"D’angelo Russell you got some explaining to do… stop cheating on that yt woman with me," Jaw Morant wrote in the post with screenshots of an alleged DM exchange between herself and Russell.

In the post, which shows the first DM in March 2024 shows Russell allegedly saying "Hi" which she "liked" but didn't respond until June of that year, writing back, "Hey."

"Know me!" Russell allegedly responds, adding, "Wya?"

"Wym? I'm in ATL," Jaw responds.

"I need you where I'm at," Russell allegedly says, before asking, "Is that possible?"

Jaw responds: "It's possible lol were you at?"

"MIA," Russell allegedly says. "I'm not in ATL to often."

"I can come out there when," the DM conversation concludes before moving onto a text exchange shown in a separate screenshot.

In the text message screenshot, the alleged exchange shows money being sent for a plane ticket and alludes to the fact that the two could have potentially met up. However, besides Jaw Morant insinuating Russell cheated on his girlfriend, Laura Ivaniukas, with whom he shares two children, the Dallas Mavericks star has not confirmed her allegations.

Young, on the other hand, who has been beefing with his former teammate for years, was excited for the alleged texts leaking.

"Oh man! What can I say, God answers all prayers." Young said in the video. "Jaw Morant, she's the GOAT. You know, I got, shoutout to Swaggy Nation people that have been riding with me from day 1."

At the time of this writing, Russell has not spoken out about the screenshots.
