Indiana Fever’s Lexie Hull is still recovering from the scary collision she had with Seattle Storm’s Gabby Williams last week. Instead of sulking about the injury, Hull decided to make it a lighter note.
She wrote, “Two black eyes and one black set.”
“If anyone can pull off two black eyes it’s you!!!” one fan praised the WNBA star.
“Hope you’re doing ok. Love that you keep that smile going!!” a fan wrote encouraging Hull.
Another fan targeted NBA stars in relation to Hull’s injury: “Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid would sit out for the season.”
It hasn’t been long since the collision between Hull and Williams that occurred on August 25 during the Fever’s 95-75 victory over the Storm.

Fever teammate Caitlin Clark cheered on Hull in the post, where she showed off her two black eyes.
“Go Lex,” Clark, who is out for the remainder of the WNBA season, wrote.
“Brings out your blue eyes,” Golden State Valkyries Veronica Burton wrote.
Friend and teammate Sophie Cunningham also had a joke for Hull, “way to use your noggin’ Lex.”
“Great song choice,” Indiana Pacers’ Tyrese Haliburton commented, referencing High School Musical’s “Get’cha Head In the Game.”
Luckily for Hull, she reportedly does not have a concussion or any facial fractures and was able to play against the Los Angeles Sparks game on Aug. 29. The Fever won 76 - 75.
After the injury occurred during the Storm game, Hull said: “Originally, I was like, I just need to get the swelling to go down in my forehead. So I put on a patch, slept with it. The next day, I woke up and I was like, ‘The bump is almost gone, but now I have two black eyes.’ So that was tragic, but at this point, unfortunately, I won’t be able to hide it. People know. So I’m just rolling with it.”
