Lane Kiffin's daughter Landry is hitting back at angry Ole Miss fans following her father's headline-making exit.
After keeping fans on the edge of their seats for weeks, Lane confirmed over the weekend that he's accepted the head coaching job at LSU and is leaving Ole Miss behind. In a shocking move, the 50-year-old signed a seven-year 90 million contract with the Tigers, becoming one of the highest paid coaches in college football.
While LSU seems thrilled with the announcement, Ole Miss fans are making their displeasure known, and Lane's daughter, Landry, is trolling them on social media.
In a video shared to TikTok on Sunday, Dec. 2, Kiffin's daughter, who happens to be a student at Ole Miss, captioned a video "#itsnotthat deep."
"Wish I could be as creative as angry football fans," Landry wrote, while sitting in her car wearing a white button-down shirt and sunglasses perched on the top of her head.
Her comments section was quickly flooded with supportive messages, and Landry hit the like button on several of them.
"I’m sorry but if someone offered me 90M… BOY BYE," one person commented.
"I wish people worried about themselves as much as Lane Kiffin!!!!!" A second wrote.
"People need to realize it’s his job like it’s basically like he got a promotion. Who in there right mind is turning down a promotion!? Ik people don’t see it that way but that’s essentially what it is," a third said.
While Landry received plenty of support on her latest post, there were still plenty of people who expressed their disappointment over Lane's decision to leave Ole Miss.
"Darlin’ we’re not angry. We’re disappointed. There’s a big difference," one person commented.
"I like lane kiffin but how could u do that to the players that have busted there a-- to get in the playoffs and he just drops them like a sack of potatoes without a care in the world," someone else said.
"He has not changed! Once a turncoat always a turncoat," another quipped.
"Im a UGA fan so im just sitting back watching but he could have atleast talked to the players guys who went to war for him week in and out," someone else said.
"You're so tone deaf to post this," another wrote.

Lane Kiffin says Ole Miss blocked his request to coach the Rebel's playoff run
Before boarding the plane to Louisiana on Sunday, Lane confirmed to ESPN that his request to lead Ole Miss in their playoff run was denied by the schol.
"This was a very challenging, difficult day," he told host Marty Smith. "We went through a lot last night with [Ole Miss athletic director] Keith Carter trying to figure out a way to make this playoff run work and be able to coach the team. And at the end of the day, that's his decision and I totally respect that. I understand that decision."
"I just totally wish the team the best of luck, wish that I was coaching. I just hope they play really well and go win the national championship," he continued.
