NBA rookie Kon Kneuppel recently surprised his parents by bringing the entire Charlotte Hornets team home for dinner.

Still adjusting to life in the NBA, Kneuppel didn't want to miss the opportunity to visit his family home while he was in Milwaukee for an away game against the Bucks

During a sit-down interview with Jimmy Fallon, the Duke alum said his mom told him he could have friends over while he was back home in Milwaukee for the Nov. 14 matchup.

"Did your mom know the team was coming over," Fallon asked.

"Yeah, so my buddies or my teammates know that I'm from Milwaukee, so they're like 'Kon, where we going?' Where we going to eat,'" the NBA rookie replied. "And I'm like well, I'm going home... An they're like, well, I guess we're going to Kon's house."

The fourth overall pick in the 2025 NBA draft did manage to give his parents a heads up - letting them know the entire team might stop by before the Hornets' bus pulled up to the front door.

His parents welcomed the Hornets home with open arms and supplied a spread of home-cooked food for the heartwarming gathering.

"Mom was ready. Twenty-five pounds of chicken fajitas," Kneuppel said. "She was ready to go."

"I know his parents are so proud," a second gushed.

"Such a good wholesome kid with great family values. So happy he's a Hornet," another added.

"The mom was such a vibe. As a sports mom and former athlete, I love every single thing about this entire story," someone else wrote.

The Hornets official team account also commented, writing, "yk (you know) the squad had to pull up."

Knueppel is continuing to prove his worth in Charlotte. In November, he averaged 19.9 points while connecting on 46.4% of field goals and 39.1% of three-point jumpers.
