Kevin Durant had fans buzzing after he tried to shoot his shot with sports reporter Kay Adams during an appearance on her "Up and Adams" show.

The NBA star, who is gearing up for his first season with the Houston Rockets after being involved in a blockbuster seven-team trade, tried to smooth things over with the brunette sportscaster after he reportedly ignored her when she previously attended one of his games.

"I’m expecting you to come to a game,” Durant said. “I’ll see you at one of these games in Houston, and we going to a barbecue here in Texas when you get out here, alright?

Adams quickly replied no, reminding Durant that, "I came to a game and you did not even...," Adams, 39, said, before Durant, 37, cut her off and replied, "I was hurt."

"You literally would not even like wave," Adams said. "You didn't come out and say hey."

The NBA star then claimed he didn't know Adams was at the game, however Adams quickly clapped back,"Kevin, I think I literally told you I was at the game."

It's unclear what Durant was "hurt" over, however, fans had a field day with the flirty exchange on social media after it went viral.
