Things got awkward in Chapel Hill for Bill Belichick over the weekend.

While UNC's head football coach had plenty of loved ones supporting him during Saturday's match against the Stanford Cardinals, there appeared to be some drama brewing in his inner circle.

Belichick's girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, and his daughter-in-law, Jennifer Belichick, were both spotted in the stands at the game, but the two appeared to steer clear of one another.

Hudson had a stern look on her face as she watched UNC beat the Cardinals 20-15 from a private suite, wearing a white tank top, blue reptile print miniskirt and white knee boots. She accessorized her look with a silver "banned" necklace, clearly poking fun at the fact that some people have falsely claimed she's been banned from attending UNC football games.

Jennifer, on the other hand, seemed to have the time of her life — cheering and screaming with a drink in her hand, while rocking a white crop top, blue shorts and similar-looking white knee boots.

The two women appeared to stay in separate areas of the stadium and didn't interact publicly during the game.

Fans noticed the subtle snub and quickly took to social media to speculate about tension between the two women, adding more drama to the 73-year-old Patriot legend's high-profile romance with his much younger girlfriend, Hudson, 24.

"I mean who can blame her," one user commented on X.

"Interesting observation, the dynamic between these two seems a bit chilly," a second wrote.

"She knows that Hudson is a creep! Get your dad away from her, girl!" Another added.

Bill Belichick's daughter-in-law blasts Jordon Hudson online

The moment comes on the heels of Schmitt criticizing Hudson for awkwardly interrupting Belichick during his appearance on "CBS Sunday Mornings" back in April.

Hudson made headlines after she shut down journalist Tony Dokoupil for asking Belichick how he met her.

After the interaction went viral, Schimitt, who's married to Belichick's son Stephen, bashed Hudson on Instagram, writing, “Publicists act in a professional manner and don’t ‘storm’ off set delaying an interview."

Hudson received her fair share of criticism for her behavior; however, Belichick fiercely defended her.

“It presents selectively edited clips and stills from just a few minutes of the interview to suggest a false narrative — that Jordon was attempting to control the conversation — which is simply not true,” he said at the time.

Hudson also poked fun at herself after the fact by wearing the exact outfit she wore during the interview on Halloween.

The former Bridgwater State University cheerleader tried to make light of the situation on Instagram, posing in a mirror selfie while wearing the same gray Navy sweatshirt, bright red lipstick and sunglasses.

She captioned the post, "The costume I never seem to be able to take off."
