NFL icon Jimmy Johnson reacted to the AI image of himself kissing a reporter that has since gone viral.
Johnson shared his response to the AI image of him kissing NBC's Sara Cardona on Monday night as he was on the sideline for the National Championship game where the Miami Hurricanes faced the Indiana Hoosiers at Hard Rock Stadium.
On the sidelines prior to the game, Cardona interviewed the NFL legend, which was then turned into a fake, inappropriate image.
"I had no idea you were so into grandpas," a comment read alongside the fake image, according to The Daily Mail.
Johnson wasted no time making sure his followers knew that the image was not real and that the incident didn't actually occur.
"This is fake...this is so wrong!" Johnson posted on X of the now-deleted image
Johnson's post made it clear that the image was false, which also seemed to do well in his favor, as many fans believed it was an actual image.
"I thought it was real until you said this," a fan reacted to Johnson's post.
Johnson has 345,000 followers on X, and the image got over 1 million impressions, the outlet reports so it's safe to say that enough people could have been fooled by the image.
Johnson was at the game Monday night to support the Miami Hurricanes, as he was previously the football coach from 1984 to 1988 and won the National Championship in 1987 against Oklahoma. He later served as the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys from 1989 to 1993 and the Miami Dolphins from 1996 to 1999.
Unfortunately, the Hurricanes did not win the National Championship last night with a score of 21-27.
