Philadelphia Eagles star Cooper DeJean got a surprising invite from Kay Adams on the Kentucky Derby red carpet on Saturday, May 3.
The NFL player, 22, seemed caught off guard when a reporter told him that Adams, 39, wanted a night on the town with him.
Before the #18 horse Sovereignty won the 151st Derby, a video posted to X captured a reporter telling DeJean, "Someone said they want to hang out with you."
"Me," DeJean replied, in a surprising tone. "Who said that? Kay Adams?" he added.
The reporter replied, "Yeah, she said she's willing to party."
The Eagles' cornerback took a second to reply to the comment, but eventually gave a three-word reply, saying, "Alright, I'm down!"

Who is Cooper DeJean dating?
If DeJean did wind up partying with the NFL Network personality at the Derby, it was likely platonic, as he already has a girlfriend.
The NFL player has reportedly been dating Steph Wilfawn since April 2024.
Wilfawn was spotted at several Eagles games during his first NFL season. She posted a photo to Instagram at Super Bowl LIX in February 2025 supporting her boyfriend, with his number 33 on the back of a black shirt.
She captioned the post, "This past week has been nothing short of amazing. The Lord has definitely blessed us! I love you, Philly!"
The couple studied together at the University of Iowa.
