It's a possibility that fans still might get a UNC and Bill Belichick documentary...just not on Hulu.

According to People, the documentary, which is set to focus on the life of Belichick's transition into college football at UNC following his stellar career as the New England Patriots head coach, is reportedly getting shopped by other networks.

At this time,it is unclear which networks are interested in picking up the docuseries.

Why did Hulu scrap the series?

The docuseries was intended to be streamed on Hulu, something that Belichick even let his players aware of.

"This is about the UNC football program,” Belichick told his players at the time. “There's obviously a lot of interest in it, and it'll stream on Hulu later this fall.”

The docuseries was supposed to have a focus on the hard work of the players and how they would be improving throughout the season. As of now, the Tar Heels have a 2-3 record for the season.

There are many reasons why a show can get scrapped, but one of the most common setbacks is creative differences. According to People's source, "Hulu wanted Keeping Up with the Belichicks, but that was never for sale,” the source told the outlet. “Their vision ultimately wasn’t in alignment with the university’s.”

The source adds: “The contracts between UNC and Everwonder are still in place and are valid. There will be a documentary, Hulu is just no longer involved in production or distribution.”

Unfortunately for Belichick, this is not the first time a television vision of his has been scrapped. Earlier this year, HBO was set to feature the eight-time Super Bowl-winning coach on their Hard Knocks series. That series also would have shed some light on the hard work of the Tar Heels as they would have been documented during their offseason in preparation for Belichick's first season as the head coach. According to CBS Sports, Belichick didn't like the fact that HBO only planned to follow North Carolina through fall camp, and they couldn't reach an agreement.

This news follows rumors swirling this week that Belichick would be stepping away from UNC. Belichick debunked those rumors with a statement: "I'm fully committed to UNC Football and the program we're building here."
