Most people buy a car to drive it. Cristiano Ronaldo is not one of those people.
The international soccer star owns more than 40 luxury vehicles but doesn't drive any of them.
During a Nov. 4 interview with Piers Morgan's "Uncensored," Ronaldo revealed that he owns dozens of posh cars, which he bought as an investment - not to cruise around in.
"Three weeks ago, I buy a car," the Al-Nassr striker said. "That is for collection. It's like you buy a frame. I'm not gonna drive that car. It's like investment."
The 40-year-old admitted that he has no idea how many cars he actually owns, he doesn't count them. If he had to estimate, he'd guess his car collection sits somewhere around 41.

His favorite ride in the collection, a Bugatti - which he owns several of - is a "different beast," Ronaldo says.
These days, the soccer pro doesn't get behind the wheel very often.
Living in Saudi means battling heavy traffic, and Ronaldo spends most of his time training.
Ronaldo confessed that he's so detached from his car collection, that he recently spent a week in Madrid and didn't even check in his garage to see if the cars were still there.
"For me the cars are not a passion anymore," he explained.
How Cristano Ronaldo is embracing family life in 2025
While it's clear that Ronaldo loves fast cars, he's also focused on his family these days.
In August, he got engaged to his longtime girlfriend and mother of his children, Georgina Rodríguez.
The couple share four children together: twins Eva Maria and Mateo, Alana, and Bella. Ronaldo also has a 15-year-old son, Cristano Jr., from a previous relationship.
The soccer pro said he wasn't resisting the commitment despite the fact that it took him eight years to pop the question. He was just waiting for the right time.
"It's the love of my life," he told Morgan. "It's just a beautiful chapter of the life. It's good," he added, while also revealing that it just felt right to propose.
Part two of Morgan's interview with Ronaldo premieres on Thursday, Nov. 6.
