A college football fan has shelled out an insane amount of money to watch the CFP championship game next week.
The over-eager fan either has some deep pockets, or just really wanted to watch the Miami Hurricanes take on the Indiana Hoosiers, as they spent a jaw-dropping $26,000 for a single ticket.
According to "TMZ," the individual will have an incredible view at the game. The ticket holder will be seated in row one in the 72 Club, which comes with some nice VIP perks, resale ticketing platform SeatGeek told the outlet.
While the price is undoubtedly steep, it is the first CFP game opportunity for the No. 1 versus No. 10.
Miami quarterback Carson Beck has been at the big game twice before with the Georgia Bulldogs, but this will be his first appearance with the Hurricanes.
Indiana is predicted to have a good showing despite Miami having home field advantage
Upper bowl ticket prices for the game have been hovering around $3,000 for upper bowl seats, while lower bowl seats sit closer to $4,000 and up (if you're lucky). Prices are climbing fast as resellers are pushing prices even higher, like most sporting events these days.
Inside the stadium, expect to see a visual showdown made up of a near even split crimson-and-white clashing with green-and orange, according to Axios.
As of Wednesday night, about 17 percent of ticket buyers were coming from Indiana, while 34 percent came from Florida. However, the crowd is shaping up to be surprisingly even despite Miami's home field advantage.
The College Football Playoff title will take place at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on Monday, Jan. 19.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.
